What : A great adventure in the form of a tournament. Explore new maps and cut your way to the golden minerals. Indy Maps and the Quest for New Lands.
Who : 16 players tournament. Registration is open to Diamond and Master players.
Where : European server. Custom Melee maps.
When : Saturday October 1st 2011, 17:00 CEST which in your timezone is
Saturday, Oct 01 3:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00)
How The Tournament Works : Every round is Best of 3. Maps are fixed in advance. The Finals will be best of 5. In the finals, the loser of each map will pick the next one.
Prizepool : No money. Pride and gratitude for helping promote lesser known maps.
Overview : 16 man tournament, European server, Diamond and Masters.

Feature : Very large area of line of sight blockers in the middle. They are all buildable.

Feature : Mains are on the lowground, the natural is on the highground. The mainchoke has line of sight blockers.

Feature : Only cross spawns.

Feature : The main and natural are back to back.

Feature : 2 naturals, one is guarded by rocks. The rocks are watched by a Xel'Naga tower.

Feature : 3 player assymetric map with 2 Islands.

The 1st round will be on Back to Back and Plaines Orageuses (Stormy Plains). If there's a tie the 3rd map will be ESV Taonas.
The 2nd round will be on Nightmare Hollow and Los Dark Matter. If there's a tie the 3rd map will be TPW Damage inc.
The 3rd round will be on ESV Taonas and TPW Damage inc. If there's a tie the 3rd map will be Nightmare Hollow.
In the finals (bo5), the first map will be Back to Back. Then the loser of each map will pick the next one from the pool.
How to enter :
Post your Name.identifier and your Race in this thread. You need to have an account on the European server. You can't change race in the middle of the tournament. You're encouraged to send me your replays at grumly@gmail.com It will help mappers tweak their maps and help promote the maps.
I will release a replaypack that everybody will be able to watch on different servers.
Streamers and Observers are ok as long as both players agree.
The brackets will be published at 17h central time, right when the tournament starts.
When the tournament starts, contact your opponent in battle.net, create a custom game and search for the maps, play your games (bo3), report the results either by PM on teamliquid, on battle.net or by email. Please send your replays by email.
