*EDIT: This is NOT the official statement from the SC2CON. The official post will be posted as soon as meeting between two sides occur. *And NO, This is not trollage..-_-;; merely translation from SC2CON's official site.
Title: Good Evening, This is SC2CON's management team leader
Hello. I am the Committee's management team leader (Lee Jun Ho).
I sincerely apologize for the issues involving team FXO due to my personal circumstances. The following are final conclusions made after talking with the FXO's side, and both sides have agreed to its' contents.
Issues involving 'Team logo' and 'Team name' were not proposed by us (committee), and the misunderstanding between the two sides have been cleared. Through our meeting with FXO in Korea, we will resolve the misunderstanding on the entire matter.
We sincerely apologize to all our fans for everything that happened regarding the FXO team's withdrawal matter, and have already invited FXO to resolve this issue. We will sort this out as soon as we meet with the FXO, and report as soon as everything clears.

LOL!
I'm sorry, but anyone that had the privilege of reading FXOBoss' original statement and following the thread as it unfolded will find this hilarious.
There tends to be misunderstanding when you refuse to talk to a team's owner. Ha!
|
We need a new subforum call "SC2CON drama"
Oh boy, another drama that is totally not the committee's fault.
|
This is sort of like when in the Office the manager guy had to quit in order to get the corporate guy to return his fucking phone calls.
|
Does any body even know what the disagreement is even over?
|
So as I understand it you are denying the two things FXOBoss that mattered the least.
What about the blackmail? The insults?
|
Is it just the translation, or does it seem like all Korean disputes are a result of "misunderstandings" and "personal circumstances"?
"I'm sorry I slept with your wife. It was a misunderstanding resulting from my personal circumstances."
|
Did anyone else think of this fellow while reading the OP?
|
It is a korean business mentality. I approved this statement by sc2con to be posted as they felt they need to reply to their fans.
However nothing has been resolved as of yet. And I will hope to have a resolution/conclusion by the end of september.
|
LOL sc2con you guys are ruining esports! :<
no but really, why do you guys choose to make such a drama when the sport is still so young :/. First NASL then FXO, don't tell me sc2con is gonna be Kespa 2.0
|
You're from... canada? and you picked GodOfTroll as your username?...
EDIT: NVM, it's just a translation. I thought it was the committee leader himself before the OP edit.
|
GodofTroll... really? This seems awkward and kind of unprofessional?
|
I think FXOpen shouldn't have used "SC2con" because they talked to only one person. Yes, that person is the sc2con representative, but like FXOpen stated one person does not equal the whole, even if he is supposedly a representative of it...it doesn't make much sense but I think that the representative's attitude was a personal vendetta and not a group vendetta.
|
I was honestly expecting more than just the typical corporate emergency PR cover up.
SC2con, I am dissapoint.
|
First, I thought we were being trolled by "GodOfTroll". Then I realised that it was serious, and felt even more trolled.
|
The representative is called representative because he is representing the organization. If he did not represent SC2con, he is not a representative. You see where I'm going with this?

You're put at a representative position to do just that, if you screw up it reflects upon the organization's decision making regardless.

I was expecting some kind of witty punchlines and jokes after seeing the username.
Anyway, since i am a little confused right now, GodofTroll is not Lee Jun Ho but someone who posted the translation right?

So if nothing has been resolved, and they said at least one thing has been resolved, why did you approve the statement? I understand approving the message so that they can respond to the public, but why approve a message that has a fact in it that isn't correct, according to your version of the story?
