DongRaeGu (MVP) advanced to the Round of 16 in GSL in his debut matches through impressionable game plays.
In the second round match of the Pepsi GSL Season 5 Code A Ro32 hosted by GOM TV Studio at Mokdong on the 8th, DongRaeGu crushed oGsInCa, who was ranked Code S in the last season.
In the first game, DongRaeGu was successful in intimidating his opponent with impenetrable defenses. oGsInCa pressured the zerg with Voidrays and Pheonix play, but it was repelled aptly with Queens and Spore Crawlers as the DongRaeGu calmly defended and took the lead. Park Su Ho (DongRaeGu) increased the gap between the two players even further with Baneling drops, and with the addition of Ultralisks, he destroyed InCa’s Zealot-Archon army with Infestors and Ultralisks, and after he was ahead by miles in supply and resources, DongRaeGu received the GG.
With momentum on his side, DongRaeGu utilized Infestor play to end the match. He overcame airplay with amazing Infestor use by showing exemplary use of Infested Terrans. InCa held the initial attacks with Immortals and Archons, but the addition of Ultralisks by DongRaeGu ended the match.
Through this, DongRaeGu so far has a clean, two straight wins in his first GSL Code A, and is heading in Ro16 for a match with SlayerSTaeJa for the advancement into the Ro8.
On the other side, player Song Joon Hyuk (oGsInCa), who has had the experience of making it to the finals of GSL Code S and taking the runner-up spot, fell drastically recently as he dropped from Code S to Code A, and with eliminated in the Round of 32, now faces offline qualification matches.

Nice, thanks. Must watch these games!

Thanks for the translation, nice article.
I can't wait to see how far he'll get this season! ^^

Yeah those games were scary good, game 2 made zerg look so overpowered on Antiga Shipyard. DRG breaks out endgame tech fast and in large quantities and that makes for some amazingly entertaining games. DRG for code A champ!

while I love the Dong, despite Inca being a former Code S finalist I think he's a fairly mediocre player, and his PvZ has always been awful. Given the recent success in general against Protoss that Zergs have been having, I'd have been shocked if Inca took even one game off DRG.

everytime a toss player forge expands into stargate if they dont do damage at that lvl of play.. it seems to be gg.. ret naniwa looked pretty much the same at bnet invitational

Ultralisks sound terrible (well are terrible) against immortal-zealot, and even archon. I didn't decide to watch the match, but sounds like there was more to it than just this explanation.

For people who missed the series, you should definitely watch game 1. It was one of the wildest PvZ I can remember (there was one truly LOL moment). The description in this article doesn't really do it any justice. And since it's game 1 it's free to watch: http://www.gomtv.net/2011gslsponsors5/vod/65875

Wow I just watched Inca vs DRG so the thread title wasn't a spoiler to me but some people aren't going to be happy with this Anyway thanks for sharing, I love DRG's ZvP.

all that matters to me is that inca is no longer in GSL
i will hold a grudge against him forever for all inning nada out of a GSL final.

I dont think this wouldve been a problem for you unless you read sporadically and jump around the whole article looking at words.. Before it reached the spoiler part you couldve realized it was gonna show what happened.. sorry nonetheless :p

The title spoils plenty, that should be obvious.
