‘It was only a short break from code S.’

- Your thoughts on making the semifinals?
It was a bit disappointing that I had to face a friend. And I lost in the semifinals last time, but I plan to do much better this time.

- You won very quickly.
I wanted to end it as fast as possible when I could.

- It looked like you were oozing with confidence, any particular reason?
I heard Dream wasn’t that good against zergs. Also, my team’s terrans are so strong that I am confident in the matchup.

- You said you were going to watch out for Dream’s Cheese.
The maps were pretty large so it didn’t as matter as much.

- You are the only zerg left in code A.
If it weren’t for me, the fans wouldn’t get to see zerg play. I will keep on advancing so that they can see even more. I want to win.

- What do you think about your chances in taking the (code A) championship?
I think the semifinals will be a bit difficult. But if asd advances on the other side, I think I will have a good chance at taking the win.

- Do you think your skills belong in code S?
I think I was on a short hiatus from my rightful spot.

- Your usage of burrowed banelings have gone up.
I was the first one on our team to use it, and through a lot of practice I have gotten better at them. I predict I will keep on using them in the future.

- Yell0w introduced you guys.
I didn’t know that he was going to do that. I hope that he will continue to play by coming over to sc2.

- Any last comments?
I want to thank every terran who helped me practice. I hope that asd can come out with a win as well. We just got all-killed in the GSTL so we aren’t feeling that hot, but we will prepare better next time so that we can get better results.

‘I want to try for an all-kill in the team league.’

- Your thoughts on making the semifinals?
I was disappointed because my opponent played worse than I predicted. Like I thought, there was no way I would lose in macro.

- You were successful in your revenge.
I think my opponent played it too safe. So I thought he was looking down on me and hit him with all I had.

- You will be facing Leenock in the semifinals.
I will have to face Leenock in a PvZ. I haven’t played much PvZ recently, but I will have to get used to it quickly if I want to win.

- Is the team atmosphere good right now?
I think we are all full of laughter and joking around. I think I have gotten more press than Sage who got the all-kill so I am a bit disappointed (laugh). Just kidding, he is getting god-like treatment at the teamhouse. I hope I can do an all-kill as well.

- Were you able to enjoy your practice?
Yes, I was able to enjoy practicing for today. The one thing that worried me was medivac harassment which threw me off during practice. But today, I was able to see the minimap really well and prevent that kind of play.

- Your 1st set play and 2nd set play was completely different.
I thought if I took a quick expo in the 1st, he would respond accordingly in the 2nd which allowed me to hit him hard in the beginning. And although my opponent expanded in the 2nd set, it was something that I expected from practice.

- The zealot archon unit composition seemed powerful.
I like pushing forward with overwhelming strength so my teammates suggested it. I think it worked out.

- How will you practice for zerg?
I think I will have to learn from Sage’s new playstyle. It was hard so I was refraining from learning it, but since I will have to face Leenock, I will have to. I am pretty friendly with Leenock so I know him very well. But in watching Sage play (against Zerg), I have not seen him lose very many times.

- You must want to get into code S. What do you think about your chances at winning code A?
I think it is definitely possible. I think I can win as long as I can beat Leenock.

I want to thank my team’s Shuttle, Jjakji, and oGsSuperNova for helping me practice. I hope that SuperNova can advance out of his code S group .

Puzzle
‘I will change the perception that ZeNEX is weak.’

- Your thoughts on making the semifinals?
PvP can change on a whim so I was worried, but I am glad I advanced.

- You won through your defense.
I predicted that. I knew my opponent would be agressive.

- Did you practice stopping the 4 gate?
After I lost to Banbanssu last time, I learned how to effectively stop the 4 gate.

- You were successful in your revenge.
After I lost to him last time, it took a while to get out of the funk of bad results.

- Are you confident that you can reach code S?
The up and down will be difficult so I don’t know yet. But I want to win code A. And as long as I can win in the semifinals, I feel like I can win the championship. I think I will have to face Leenock in the finals. I heard that Leenock isn’t that good against Protoss, so I think I will have an easy time.

- But you will be facing a terran in the semifinals.
I think asd will be a bit easier than Happy as I have faced asd many times on ladder. Also, Happy has been on a tear recently. He is also unpredictable in the kind of style he will use, so he is a more difficult opponent.

- You have not yet played in the GSTL.
We only used 2 players to face FXO. I never thought that we would lose, so I didn’t have to think that much about it (**playing).

- You will be facing IM next.
We have lost to them twice, I want to win against them this time.

- Any player you would like to face (in that team)?
I want to face YoungHwa.

- Any last comments?
It was my mom’s birthday last week, I want to say thanks to her for giving birth to me and say happy birthday. cOre and Yong helped me practice, I want to say thanks to them. We started off with an all-kill and we have not lost a match yet in the GSTL. Although we still have the image of a weak team, I hope that we can change that in this season.

IMHappy
‘You can definitely go mech.’

- Your thoughts on making the semifinals?
I am glad I made it to the semifinals. I practiced a lot for mech, so I am glad that it worked out.

- You were able to win with your mech play?
I wanted to show that mech is definitely viable. But I think I will need to look at the maps before using it. Mech is difficult to play if you get counterattacked or sandwiched, so maps like Terminus are difficult.

- You had a tough time against Marauders on Terminus.
I thought I would win after I got to 200 food with a lot of siege tanks. But I began to lose small skirmishes all over. When you get broken up like that, mech becomes weaker.

- It seems like you always make a raven.
They help a lot during the mid-to-late game defense so that it feels like a necessity.

- Your next opponent is Protoss.
I think it will be fun. I have been using mech for a while now, but it will be fun to mix in some marines and marauders now.

- How much do you know about Puzzle?
I don’t know him that well. But with enough practice I think I can definitely get to the finals.

- Your chances at winning code A?
I think it is about 50% right now.

- If you were to have a Mech based nickname?
I think Gundam Terran is good. I also like the thor the best out of all the units.

- Any last comments?
I want to thank Dreamertt, Yoda and MVP for helping me practice. I think I was able to play even better today because of my sister’s great food. I also want to thank my coach for coming into the booth to give me advice after each set; it helps me concentrate for the next set. He told me to relax because I still have the up and down even if I lose.
