Where: NA Server, New England Region (NY and NJ are included with this due to proximity)
Prize Pool:
1st Place: 2 lessons from a Team Dignitas pro gamer
2nd Place: 1 lesson from a Team Dignitas pro gamer
3rd Place: Free Team Dignitas gear (trying to get signed)
4th Place: Free Team Dignitas gear (Trying to get signed)
Format: 128 Participants maximum. 32 participants per division. Entry for the tournament will be $10 paid using Paypal before the start date.

Map Pool:
Map pool is based on the current Blizzard map pool and will change if said pool changes

Maps will be chosen by elimination with the higher seed eliminating the first map and so on. Loser picks afterwards.

1. Register in the New England SC2 League forums
2. PM me with the following information:
a. Name.Character Code
b. Race
c. Division
3. Using the Paypal link below, include a note with the above information included with the payment.

If this first tournament is successful, I plan on running these tournaments ~every 6 weeks on the entire NA server. With continued success, I will be able to make a few of these 100% free in the future, but not every one.

So pretty much yes. I included NY and NJ because people from those areas come to the live events I throw as well. And since you have to join the forums to participate, I have access to where you are from as an admin.
But like I said towards the end of the post. If this event is successful, I will be doing these for all of the North American server regardless of where you actually live.

Updated the OP for clarity. This tournament happens over 6 weeks, not all in one day and happens when you and your opponent set a time based on the rules.

Well let any of your friends that live in NY/NJ/MA/CT/VT/RI/CT/ME/NH know about this and have them sign up. Like I said up above, if this works out good, I'll open it the NA server and it will be open to all teams involved. Just imagine paying $10, beating at least 6 other guys and getting 2 lessons with Idra. That's $10 for $600 lessons. ROI... you bet it is.

Because of the few numbers that signed up this past week, I will be postponing this tournament as well as making some changes. There will be a price drop and I will be opening it to all of the NA server. So if you lived outside of New England, keep checking the forums for a tournament labelled
"North America Bronze to Platinum Tournament" by the end of this week. You guys should also vote in this thread:

I wish something like this would come to europe too. Sucks to just know you could get idra lessons for $10 and your games potentially casted and then you can't participate
