No Idea if it has been posted yet, but really interesting interview.

In the beginning it felt like running with a sandbag. However, once you get used to it, it doesn’t really affect your game.”
- BoxeR on playing with high latency.

Might be interesting for the TSL3 lag discussion.

Jinro said the same thing as well. If you practice and play a lot of games in high latency then you get used to it. If any of the koreans lost because of latency its their fault for inadequate preparation

Doesn't really effect your game until sentries come up and forcefield you because you can't react fast enough.

Overall good interview, he's very modest.

Most can't even without latency.

Tyler said the same thing on Sotg. It's more the consistancy of the latency rather than the amount that is important.

Boxer really gives the interviews in E-Sports. What a well-spoken and humble man.

Yeah. As a progamer, you should prepare for playing under all kinds of conditions, like playing outdoors with heavy raining/snowing, playing under water, playing with pants on fire, playing without mouse/keyboard, playing at Fukushima nuclear plant,...

Assuming all your actions are pre-calculated. Latency becomes a big problem for reactionary moves.

Good interview. I didn't even know Boxer got into Stockholm Invitational.

If you know months ahead of time you're going to be playing with high latency theres no excuse.

People had the same thing in bw. All of us were used to play on normal battle.net until lan latency came around and after that getting back to battle.net was so horrible. I never tried to get used to battle.net latency again but I am sure after several games you will get used to it.

Koreans in the TSL can be blamed for lack of preparation on NA servers if they in fact did not prepare, but the fact remains that a player with lower latency will have an advantage.

Don't really want this to focus only on the lag discussion, GG did a nice interview read the entire thing
