hey TL guys.
how to break this insane contain? straight teching to carrier? I have no idea...
I saw in the last days many tournaments where happens the same and the Protoss was never abel to break this contain ... I even tried to charge in from the back with zelots and push in the front with everything + phoenixes for the banshees + vkings...
this contain is so hard to break, what would be the best strat. to get out of this insane contain?

I played a similar game yesterday. I also failed to break the contain, but what I wish I had done was immortal drop his main. 2 immortals with warped in zealots would have given him HUGE problems.

Try to attempt to harass when this occurs. Spread pylons across the map and ninja expo!

Immortal Drops with Prisms and loading them right back up while repeating is a really effective damage soaker for multi-tanks.
Haven't seen it work vs critical mass tank though but that rarely happens mid game

Yah, lets drop 2 units that cant shoot up in his base...
I've not watched the replay, but try dropping zealots ontop of the tanks as you try to break it, and use phoenix to protect your prisms and also lift a tank or two/snipe banshees

before i first watched the replay, i thought it was a very early contain, seems like i was mis understood.
Anyway to break this contain you could have had more collosus to break it. looking at the resource value, you clearly have a way smaller army than him when he attacks you, which he could just attack you and end it, instead of what you said a contain.
P.s. remember to upgrade your warpgate research earlier

I was containing a protoss in a TvP, and he was annoying the shit out of me with warp prisms. It was pretty gay

dropping into the tank line wouldn't work because there some vkings.
immortal + zelots would be a good idea...
even 1 HT can be warped in as well could annoy him, but the tanks still stand there.

Im played against this very contain last night, and let me tell you... it was brutal. Im only a gold player, and i wish i had prism dropped his base. I cant upload my replay right now, but ill get it up so people can help me decide what i can do better.

Open stargate and it won't be much of a problem. Gateway army plus Void rays absolutely kills that early game composition you faced.

Seems like pheonix are good against all 3 things.
