Hello! On December 19th, landogs (http://landogs.com) will be hosting a tournament at Game Nite at South County Mall at 12:00 pm noon. Entry fee is $15, and all players must be present and registered by 11:30.

Registration is being capped at 16 players, and there will be cash prizes.

Says the event is by invitation only? That seems a bit strange and at odds with previous events, although, I guess there were quite a few people last time/ was arguably overfilled.

Hello! They fixed the page to reflect that this is now open to registration by anyone that wants to attend, but is being limited to 16 participants.

oh wow, i would love to go to this, sucks that this just happens to be the time im going to visit chicago lol. hopefully there willbe more.

sweet looks awesome, definately going to be there. Live in CWE so this isnt THAT far, still 30 min drive though haha.

Hey, I'm coming in from St. Chuck to cast the event. Ends up being about a 45-50 minute drive for me. I understand the long drive.

I got an email at 11:45 pm (CST) from the organizer, who said this event was cancelled due to a last-minute emergency. I don't know anymore than that, but if you are reading this, do not show up tomorrow. A moderator may want to change or update the title as well.

This was totally sweet to drive into town for. 5 bucks off a future tournament totally makes the 8 hours ok.

That bitterness aside, I really hope that the emergency panned out ok. Sickness is never a good thing.
