Stork, great
Q: Your team is now ranked 5th. Thoughts on your win?
▲Stork: Last season, we started off at the bottom, and we stayed there for the whole season. We haven't been 5th for a while now. Right now, we're in the middle tier, and we'll work hard to rise to the top tier.
▲Great: First off, I'm very happy that we became 5th place. Last season we were 10th at the end of R1. This season, I think we'll do better.
Q: You played against some former teammates.
▲Stork: Even in practice, I thought that I might play FBH, and that brought back memories of a time long ago. Even if we met online, I wouldn't feel that FBH was on another team. FBH's TvP was always very good. I told myself I couldn't lose, so I practiced with urgency.
▲Great: M18M used to be the player I was on best terms with, so I didn't think that we would meet this way. Since our teams each understood the other's style, there was a lot of sniping.
Q: Great, your facial expression during the game left a deep impression.
▲Great: Since I was playing a former teammate, I was relaxed, so when something unexpected happened, naturally my expression changed.
Q: Stork, FBH bunker rushed you.
▲Stork: I saw that my opponent was going 1rax CC [T/N thanks Kyuukyuu], so a bunker rush never crossed my mind. I decided to make zealots rather than probes to block it. I should have succeeded, but I didn't, and once my expansion fell I felt very disadvantaged. I don't know when my supply reached 200, but when it did I felt like I still had some fight left. I really didn't think the start would be that bad. Once I came down from the booth, my teammates told me at one points the odds were 8:2 against me. I guess I only won because I stayed as calm as in practice.
Q: Stork, it seems that you've been in a slump since you came back from China.
▲Stork: I don't think it's my problem. My opponents have all been extremely fearsome. I have much experience, and I believe there's not much to do but to loosen my mentality.
Q: Great, your condition has been good recently.
▲Great: This OSL has completely overhauled my way of thinking, so in the future I should do even better. As a progamer, to win while I'm on a hot streak is very important. This time, I've advanced in the individual leagues, and my performance in televised games has improved. I myself am very eager to play more.
Q: Samsung seems to have carried out a certain degree of changes.
▲Stork: Even disregarding that, our team's players have improved a lot, other teams seem to be having issues with players who transferred, but we seem to be connected to it too. Last year it was the same way. My performance was tied to the team's performance. It looks like I must work hard. [T/N unsure, since this reply seems very disjointed]
▲Great: Even though other teams have become stronger through player transactions, I don't think we fall behind. Everyone is outstanding, so as long as Jangbi starts playing better, our team should do well.
Q: Anything else?
▲Stork: Thanks to all my teammates who helped me practice.
▲Great: I know recently M18M has been doing well, so I hope he quickly forgets this loss and continues to play well.
Turn, Grape
Q: Thoughts on the win?
▲Turn: I'm glad that I won and that I managed to predict a T opponent.
▲Grape: I really wanted to win a game in SPL, so winning my first game in proleague makes me ecstatic. It took 5 tries to get the win, longer than most people.
Q: Grape, there are many P in your team. Do you feel uneasy about that?
▲Grape: Before today's game, I thought that this would be my last chance. There are a lot of P around me, so all I could do to start off is learn from them. Only outstanding players can really contribute wins to the team, so I'll work very hard in preparation.
Q: Turn, you're now 7-0 in R1.
▲Turn: Recently, when I go up to play, I feel strongly that I'm going to win, so I can relax during the game itself. Even if my streak ended now, it wouldn't feel like much of a blow to me, since my performance has long blown past expectations. This win streak also has me dreaming of a 10 win streak.
Q: Turn, you still haven't faced a P.
▲Turn: The maps I've played on are all those that can be played by all races, but it seems I keep meeting T. But even if I finally face a P, I'll have confidence. I just have to defend when it's time to defend and attack when it's time to attack.
Q: Grape, your name is the same as that of MBC's Yu Byeong Jun [T/N thanks Ryo] and you seem to have warm relations. Also, what kind of progamer do you want to be?
▲Grape: We've met in one match. We're playing MBC soon, and I've heard that he'll be coming to the preparation room to see me. I hope to become a player like Jangbi. When I was still an amateur, I saw a lot of games from outstanding P players, but I was especially influenced by Jangbi. With regards to that, it seems that being able to join Khan is very miraculous. Sitting next to Jangbi, it really feels like there's no way to lose, and that's awesome.
Q: Anything else?
▲Turn: I didn't think I could play this well in R1, so I'm very glad. I won't slack off in R2; I'll keep working hard the whole way through.
▲Grape: Thanks to my teammates Sharp and Chavi. Also thanks to Stork and Jangbi [T/N not sure on these two, since nicknames were used] for mentoring me this whole time.
