Woongjin pulls it off against ACE!

ohhhh yeaaaah

Q: You won the first game, what are your thoughts on earning the first win of the proleague season?
A: My preparation for this season was pretty hurried, my condition isn't great, and on top of that my game wasn't very satisfying, so I'm feeling a little regretful. No matter how I look at it, showing my fans this type of game wasn't good of me. This was only the first game. I'll recover my condition very quickly so I can show everybody a stronger performance.

Q: What did you do during the offseason?
A: I saw a lot of friends and I went traveling. But of course the majority of my offseason was still spent practicing (haha). I didn't do anything outstanding this offseason; it was very normal.

Q: Near the end of the game, you fell into a spot of danger.
A: I haven't played a televised game in a while, so I became so nervous that I had trouble playing. When I arrived, I even began to doubt "Am I really playing in the SPL?" I ended up playing like in practice, so my coaches and teammates reprimanded me severely [T/N poor free ] Because this was the first match, afterward I must go home and consider very hard the areas where I am lacking.

Q: Your team acquired Really and Flying, and they've been here for three days. How is it?
A: It seems that the atmosphere is still a little awkward. However, I'm sure we'll become close quickly. Those two are both very kind, so if they interact with us I'm sure we'll bond. For the sake of our team's victory, we need to unite.

Q: Your goal for the 10-11 PL season?
A: My personal goal is to help our team get into the playoffs. If our team fails to make the playoffs, then I don't really have any additional goals. So we must make the playoffs. For the individual leagues, since I've never made the finals of an individual league, I am aiming for the gold.

Q: Last year, Zero [T/N i think] stole your spot as Stars' Ace player.
A: It was a really regrettable season. Considering wins and losses, I apparently won less than expected. I will play better this season than last season. I will put in ample practice, and I believe I can put up a better showing.

Q: Any final remarks?
A: Even though I have been practicing diligently all along, hearing people say SCBW is dying, I feel like I haven't given my fans very interesting performances. It's a huge responsibility. I feel SCBW will live forever, and I hope I can reveal my strength for the fans. Through cooperation and unity of our efforts, we can bring newfound popularity to eSports.

Q: Thoughts on your victory?
A: My innate power really is pitiful, I'm very lucky that I pulled off the win.

Q: What was the situation in the game?
A: Up until I destroyed all the enemy's buildings, I didn't even realize I had won. I often play into this situation, so today I thought "hooray, this again..." The situation was looking very dire for me, but it's good that I still won. I didn't know how many minerals GoRush still had, I just stubbornly sent my zerglings to attack his main. I also constantly prayed "aah, please let the zerglings finish him" (haha). It went well.

Q: Kwanro went to SKT, so now the Z line of Stars rests on you.
A: Soulkey and Crazy-Hydra are both not bad as well, so my own burden isn't too great. I'm more worried about our P line, but the addition of flying has helped ease that. It's really improved our team's overall strength. I've heard talk that Kwanro's style is one that our team lacks, so I feel a little regretful that he went to a different team. I am confident that he'll perform well on SKT.

Q: Really and Flying joined your team.
A: The two have really good personalities, so I think they'll assimilate into our team quickly. They're both essential to Woongjin, and they bring a lot of power to the table.

Q: Your goal for the season?
A: Get to GwangAhnRi [T/N the playoff finals], and now that Really is here, I'm confident we can make it.

Q: Any final remarks?
A: [T/N not sure of this answer] Sair thought it would be fun, so he took a picture of Woongjin. I haven't seen it yet, but when he took it, it was interesting, so I hope it looked good. I suspect it'll be uploaded to the internet soon. Even though it's not fully complete, I still hope everyone thinks we're qt (haha).

Q: You just won your first game after changing teams; how do you feel?
A: I haven't played for a long time. After I arrived at Woongjin, I felt like I had to put up a good performance, but the game didn't go as well as I planned, so I feel a little regretful. I'm still adapting, so after today, I'll put in more hard work and perform better.

Q: Have you fully adapted to joining Woongjin yet?
A: The atmosphere is great here. The living and eating conditions are outstanding; as long as I play well, everything's good. I'm really happy. To tell the truth, after the eStro player draft on Wednesday, I had only moved in for two days, so I wasn't so familiar with my teammates. But I'm confident we'll become close quickly. Nobody's made any serious jokes with me yet, but I still think [T/N someone in Woongjin, Chinese says 蔡琴, who is a female pop artist] is pretty fearsome.

Q: During your initial tank push, you lost a lot of forces to zerglings.
A: I meant to just hold position, but I A-moved and failed; it was really shameful. During the game, I felt like I needed to practice more. After I came down, the head coach's expression was pretty bad. I feel like I must practice very hard to do well.

Q: Your season goal?
A: Of course it's to strive for the most proleague wins. I also hope to be the key to Woongjin's first trip to the playoffs.

Q: Woongjin T has always been evaluated as pretty weak; how do you see it?
A: During practice, when I see everyone playing, I realized that what I thought before and the truth are very different. It's just that they have trouble showing their true strength in televised games. I must break the "Woongjin T sux" image; I have this as motivation.

Q: Anything else?
A: Thanks for Woongjin for choosing me. I'll work earnestly to repay them; I'm confident I'll make our team, our coaches, and our managers happy. I hope the fans are eager.

Q: Your thoughts on winning the deciding game?
A: I haven't played in a long time, and I knew I would be nervous, but my play was better than anticipated, so I brought home the win.

Q: The beginning was a serious crisis.
A: In practice, I often encounter this type of situation. I felt like it was because my own practice wasn't full enough, so I must improve.

Q: You must help carry Woongjin's Z line.
A: Our team's Z line is better than any other's, so I don't think there will be a problem; we will perform well. Aside from Z, the two players we acquired from eStro will help all of our races become stronger.

Q: Your team has new players
A: The arrival of the two has made us really strong. Really and flying are also both good people (haha). I hope we will bond quickly.

Q: Season goal?
A: My personal goal... helping our team get to GwangAhnRi is my #1 goal. I hope my goal becomes a reality.

Q: Any final remarks?
A: Last season, our team was eliminated in the middle of the season. This season, our strength has been raised significantly, so the fans should be more eager to see us. I hope we can repay them with success.

It's to be expected after his game against ggaemo. Just as he said, his play wasn't very good even though he won.

Aw, it sounds like they took some flak for their play. I hope they don't take it too hard, and fall into a grove for their match against WeMade 2mrw night

For some reason, these somewhat depressing interviews still made me feel positive. Maybe it's just because I'm happy to see winner interviews again after all this time. Maybe I'm glad to see Really on the team and winning already. Or maybe it was free's comment that BW will live forever. I'm not sure.

But BW will live forever.
