TESTICLES.
That is all.
oh wait, what I meant to say was:
It has recently come to my attention that there is a feature of b.net that hardly anyone knows about (read: most of the people who I add as a friend). Did you know that if someone who isn't on your friends list messages you, you can add them without knowing what their character code is?
I have added many friends through the Practice Partner Thread. And almost everyone I have messaged immediately responds with "what is your character code?"
you can do this without a character code!
Here I'll show you.
You see, in every IM window, there's a small tab. It might not be visible to the untrained eye. But it's there. It's on the right edge of the IM window:

See that tab? You can click on it! When you click on it, it pops out and reveals the portrait of the mysterious IM'er!:

From here you can right-click their name and Add Friend. It's that easy! OR, if you get a bad BM'er who hates having friends, you can also right-click their name and Block Communication! Excellent for those angsty ladder players who feel the need to express their angstiness when you administer a thorough beatdown and cause them to lose between 1 and 15 points on the ladder!
respond if your mind was just blown (also respond if you already knew about it).
