The main and natural:

As a result, you can forget about any kind of sneak attack unless you control a significant amount of them, meaning nowhere are they as strategically important as they are in Asgard" -Rade
No towers cover the back door.
3rd expansions are connected by a bridge blocked by destructible rocks. Seize the XelNaga tower to spot incoming agression otherwise hidden by LOS blockers.
