2-0 Winner, Action!
- How do you feel about advancing two seasons in a row?
▲ I advanced before last season, so I was confident this time as well. I wasn't able to get a lot of rest because of preparing for Proleague, but I'm still very happy to be able to advance like this.
- Was there not enough practice time?
▲ I basically didn't practice. After yesterday's Proleague, I was too tired, so I only practiced some new maps like Triathlon before resting.
- How were today's games?
▲ The first game went smoothly from the start, and I won despite being very nervous. Regarding the second match, the opening were very favourable, so the match was easy.
- If the opponent had not gone 14CC, what did you have prepared for the late game transition?
▲ In planning for the late game, I took a fast gas, so the Zerglings didn't come out instantly.
- Last MSL, you met Flash early and were eliminated.
▲ At the time, I didn't have much hope for individual leagues, so I didn't mind too much. I wasn't playing too well either, so I don't have much regret, but I was still envious of those that did well.
- Your goal for this MSL?
▲ This time my goal is quite ambitious. After Round 5 of SPL is over, there will be a long break, so even if I can't rest well now, I will prepare hard and show good results. [T/N:... so he didn't really answer the question]
- Are there any players you want to meet in the MSL?
▲ Not really. Originally, I wanted to meet strong opponents, but it's better to be safe in the beginning. I'll have chances to meet strong opponents in the later stages.
- Last thoughts?
▲ There's a Protoss practice partner in our team who helped me a lot with ZvP, so I'm very thankful. Also, a lot of eSTRO members advanced from the MST this time, so I hope they can all get good results. Lastly, Grape might be a bit sad about his game yesterday, but I hope he can do better in the remaining MST.

2-1 Winner, Violet!
- Your thoughts on your first time advancing into the MSL?
▲ Originally, my goal was to advance 2-0, but regrettably I advanced 2-1 instead. Even though it's a little disappointing, it's because I was lacking, so I have to improve on my weaknesses and show good form in this MSL.
- The first set seemed very frantic. [T/N: or "confused"... I dunno I didn't watch it :\]
▲ I was too nervous (laughs). My condition wasn't very good, because last night I stayed up too late doing the laundry (laughs).
- After losing the first set, was there a lot of pressure?
▲ I was very nervous for the first match, but afterwards, regardless of winning or losing, I felt more relaxed. The games afterwards went smoothly (laughs). But it's still better to win the first game! (laughs)
- In the loser's match, you and Movie had identical builds.
▲ After I saw his forces in the middle of the map, I didn't think he would also have gone 3 gate. My reinforcements were still at home, so if I had pulled Probes earlier to defend it wouldn't have ended up being an elimination race, and I would have won more easily. I made an error in judgment, but since I had attacked first I still had the advantage.
- Did you think your opponent would go BBS in the final match?
▲ I guessed it. Prior to the game, I had a hunch. Plus, from watching his first two games, I was pretty sure of it, so I played very comfortably and was able to win.
- After blocking the attack you were smiling the entire time, what were you thinking?
▲ Usually I don't do things like that, but I was very happy since I guessed the opponent's build correctly. I scouted the middle of the map and didn't see anything, so I thought I had bad luck today since I was also scouted first. But after seeing that I had guessed correctly I was ecstatic.
- You haven't had much luck in individual leagues before, and you were in the first group. Was it stressful?
▲ Regarding individual leagues, I haven't felt too pressured, but in order to show improvement, I have to first show better results in them. I've never been able to do this, so it could've been stopping me from improving. Plus, I was also the first person on my team to play, so there was also the pressure of wanting to have a good start (laughs).
- Who do you want to meet in the MSL?
▲ I haven't really thought about it, I only want to stand on the MSL stage and start playing.
- Because you were in the first group, you have no MSL-related duties for the next three weeks.
▲ There is still Proleague and OSL qualifiers, so I can't relax. I have to work even harder to get even better results. Just looking at these prelims, it might be that players in other groups may be more used to the maps, but there is still OSL so these next three weeks of rest will still be very beneficial to me.
- What's your goal for your first MSL?
▲ I haven't really thought about it; I just want to play in the Ro32. But if I had to choose, it would be to get a seed.
- Last thoughts?
▲ Since I had the day off yesterday I didn't practice very much, only about 10 games. I'd like to thank 815-hyung for practicing with me yesterday, my coaches, and my fans who are always supporting me. It's because of them that I advanced today.
