Q: How do you feel about winning?
Flash: I’m really happy that I was able to win with my abilities for my team. I’m thankful for the fans who continuously to cheered us on. Without those fans, KT would not exist. Now that they got the chance to taste our victory, we’ll try our best to let them feel the same way in Proleague finals.
Stats: It’s been a little over 2 years since I came into the team. I tried hard until now to get to where we are today, and I’m really happy that we won. I’m thankful that all the veterans did well, and I also thank Flash. I’ll try my best to be a player that helps the team in R4 and R5.
FireFist: I’m moved by the feeling of victory. The coaching staff worked really hard for us for this final. They didn’t get to sleep a lot from overworking themselves, so I want to thank them. Flash did really well, but I believe that we won because everyone worked hard together. I want to congratulate everyone for making this far.Violet: It’s been 3 years since I joined the team and I’m happy that we received a title with our team’s name. Although I’m disappointed that I only got 1 kill today, I will definitely show better performance in R4 and R5.fOrGG: I’m really happy that the team won. I practiced hard for my game, but I think I lost because I’m lacking skills. I will make up for my lack of skills and do well at the Proleague finals.815: It’s been over 3 years since I joined the team, and I’m happy that we got to win. We will definitely win the Proleague finals as well.HoeJJa: It was my first big-stage game and although I lost, it was a good experience. I will definitely win at the finals.Suny: I haven’t been here for a while, but I’m happy that we won.Barracks: I’m happy that the team won, and although I only helped them practice, I’m glad I was helpful in the process. We’ll do our best to show good results in the Proleague finals.Tempest: It feels different to win for the first time. Our players and coaching staff are both amazing, but I think we lost because of a jinx (laughs). Now that we’re over it, we’ll definitely win at the Proleague finals.Q: When you were sent out at 1-3, were you insecure?
Flash: It would be a lie to say that it didn’t pressure me at all. I focused on my mindset. I was confident because Violet took out Light for us. I said to myself that I will be able to beat the other three, and it seemed to work well.
Q: As the captain, what did you do to contribute for the team’s victory?
FireFist: I thought to myself that I should be the captain who plays well, not the captain who is just older than everyone else. I tried my best to be the same as every other player in the team, and I also tried to be the bridge between the coaching staff and the players.
Q: You were a big part of the win today by beating
LightViolet: Although I only took out 1 player, I believe that he is worth about 3 players. I’m trying to make myself feel better that way (laughs). Honestly, I wanted Hoejja to beat him before coming here today. I didn’t have enough confidence and I wasn’t confident in my skills as well, but once I stepped onto the stage, I wanted to play. I want to beat a strong player. If I can just recall that moment, I think I can do well in future games as well. I’ll practice hard.
Q: Your family came to see you, so are you disappointed that you didn’t get to play?
Stats: I am but I’m satisfied due to the team’s victory. I honestly wanted to play in place of ForGG. I lost to
Sea during last season so I wanted revenge, but I trusted ForGG because he worked really hard. However, the trust he me hard (laughs).Q: You said you had something to say
Flash: I want to thank the KT company for their continuous supports. They told us that they will give us all iPhones if we win today, so we tried harder (laughs). Now that we won, I hope they provide it for us. I really want to use it (laughs).

- 첫 단체전 우승 소감
▲ 이영호=내 손으로 팀을 우승을 이끌어서 정말 기쁘다. 그리고 무엇보다 우리를 변함없이 응원해주신 팬들께 감사 드린다. 팬들이 없었다면 지금의 KT가 없었을 것이다. 이렇게 우승의 맛을 보여드렸으니 광안리에서도 기쁨을 느끼실 수 잇도록 노력하겠다.
▲ 김대엽=팀에 들어온 지 2년 조금 넘었다. 오늘을 위해 정말 열심히 준비했는데 우승해서 정말 좋다. 형들이 잘해줘서 정말 고맙고, 영호에게도 고맙다. 앞으로 4, 5라운드 열심히 해서 광안리에 올라가 우승할 수 있도록 팀에 도움 되는 선수 되겠다.
▲ 김재춘=생애 첫 우승을 해서 감격스럽다. 무엇보다 결승전 준비하면서 코칭스태프께서 정말 고생하셨다. 잠도 못 주무시고 노력하셨는데 정말 감사 드린다. 영호가 정말 잘했지만 영호 혼자 잘해서 우승한 것이 아니라 다들 열심히 한 것이라고 생각한다. 모두 수고했다는 말을 전하고 싶다.
▲ 우정호=팀에 들어온 지 3년이 됐는데 팀의 이름으로 우승 타이틀을 얻게 돼서 기쁘다. 오늘 1킬 밖에 못해서 개인적으로 아쉽지만 4, 5라운드에서 분발해서 더 좋은 경기력 보여주겠다.
▲ 박지수=팀이 우승해서 정말 기쁘다. 경기 열심히 준비했는데 아직 실력이 부족해서 진 것 같다. 실력을 보완해서 광안리에서는 좋은 성적 내겠다.
▲ 배병우=팀에 입단한 지 3년이 넘었는데 이렇게 우승하게 돼서 기쁘다. 이 기세로 광안리에서도 우승하겠다.
▲ 고강민=큰 무대 경험이 처음이었는데 비록 졌지만 좋은 경험이었다. 광안리에서는 반드시 승리하겠다.
▲ 남승현=이적한지 얼마 안됐는데 이렇게 우승해서 기쁘다.
▲ 황병영=팀이 우승하게 돼서 기쁘고, 연습만 해줬지만 도움이 된 것 같아 좋다. 광안리에서도 좋은 성적 내도록 열심히 하겠다.
▲ 박재영=우리 팀이 그동안 우승을 못하다가 처음 우승을 하니 기분이 정말 색다르다. 우리 팀 코칭스태프와 선수들 모두 훌륭한데 마가 끼어서 우승을 못했던 것 같다(웃음). 이제 이렇게 모두 털어냈으니 광안리에서도 우승하겠다.
- 1대3 상황에서 나섰는데 불안하지 않았나
▲ 이영호=부담이 안됐다는 것은 거짓말이다. 마인드 컨트롤에 중점을 뒀다, 정호형이 이재호 선수를 끊어줘서 자신 있었다. 남은 세 명을 모두 이길 수 있다고 마인드 컨트롤을 했는데 그것이 잘 통해서 경기가 잘 풀린 것 같다.
- 주장으로서 팀의 우승을 위해 어떤 노력을 했나.
▲ 김재춘=주장이 되고 나서 생각했던 것이 단지 다른 선수들보다 나이가 많은 주장이 아닌 실력이 좋은 주장이 되자고 생각했다. 다른 선수들과 다름 없이 똑같이 생활하고 열심히 하는 것을 보여주기 위해 노력했고, 선수들과 코칭스태프를 연결하는 다리가 되기 위해 노력했다.
- 이재호를 꺾으며 팀 승리에 큰 역할을 했다.
▲ 우정호=오늘 내가 없앤 선수는 1명이지만 인구수 3을 차지하는 중요한 선수라고 생각한다. 그래서 3킬을 했다고 나 자신을 위로하고 싶다(웃음). 사실 오늘 경기장에 오기 전까지는 (고)강민이가 그냥 이겨줬으면 하는 바람이었다. 자신감도 떨어지고 실력에 대한 자신감도 없어서 불안했는데 막상 무대에 올라서니 경기가 하고 싶어졌다. 강한 선수와 붙어서 한번 꺾어보고 싶었다. 지금 이 기분을 잘 기억한다면 앞으로 있을 경기에서도 잘 할 수 있을 것 같다. 열심히 연습하겠다.
- 가족들이 응원 온 것으로 알고 있는데 출전하지 못해 아쉽지 않나
▲ 김대엽=아쉽지만 팀이 우승했으니 그걸로 만족한다. 사실 지수 대신 나서고 싶다는 생각도 있었다. 지난 정규시즌에서 염보성 선수에게 진 기억도 있어서 복수하고 싶었는데 지수형이 더 열심히 했기 때문에 믿었다. 그런데 믿는 도끼에 발등 찍혔다(웃음).
- 하고 싶은 말이 있다고 자원했는데
▲ 이영호=회사에서 아낌 없는 지원을 해주신 것 감사 드린다. 사실 우승 전에 아이폰을 포상으로 주신다고 하셔서 그 덕에 더 열심히 했다(웃음). 이렇게 우승했으니 꼭 아이폰을 지급해 주셨으면 좋겠다. 꼭 써보고 싶다(웃음).
