MST Group 11 March 6, 2010 -- 17:00 KST / 9:00 CET / 3:00 ESTGame 1: Shine < Fighting Spirit > ShuttleGame 2: fOrGG < Fighting Spirit > HiyAWinners: < Match Point > Losers: < Match Point > Final: < Odd-Eye 2 >
![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/images/players/623.jpg) ShineTeam: WeMade FOXLast 10 Games: 4-6 Shine made waves in the 2009 EVER OSL by beating both Bisu and Stork on his run to the semi-finals, where he lost to PvZ expert Movie. Unsurprisingly, his defeat of two Protoss favorites attracted a large number of anti-fans, who characterized him as the stereotypical "mediocre Zerg," only able to win through hydralisk and mutalisk spamming. Will Shine prove his naysayers wrong, or will his star fade once and for all? "Haters gonna hate."
![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/images/players/86.jpg) ShuttleTeam: STX SouLLast 10 Games: 7-3 Widely acknowledged as a PvP specialist, the underrated Shuttle recently came in the spotlight after all-killing Samsung Khan in the Winner's League. His victories over great and Action, two solid Zerg players, have shown that he is more than a single matchup sniper. Will he be able to take on the Typhoon Zerg? "Stork. Jangbi. No lube. Shine? Pssssh."
![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/images/players/207.jpg) fOrGGTeam: KT RolsterLast 10 Games: 6-4 After winning the 2008 Arena MSL in a dominating fashion, 3-0ing Jaedong in the process, the Timing Attacker fell back into relative obscurity, remembered only as "the Pretender". His good performance in the Winner's League and his easy qualification for the Korean Air OSL Ro16 have revealed a rejuvenated forGG, ready to once again timing push his way to victory. Will he be able to shake off the rust and prove that nostalgia isn't overrated? "I was doing timing pushes back when Flash was still a cheesy scrub."
![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/images/players/205.jpg) HiyATeam: Hwaseung OZLast 10 Games: 7-3 An unfortunate member of the Mouthbreathing Progamers Anonymous along with fellow head-lollers fantasy and go.go, Hiya has proved himself as Jaedong's worthy sidekick in the Winner's League, but glory has evaded him in the individual leagues. What he lacks in TvZ he makes up for in TvP -- will we see a more well-rounded Hiya succeed in this MSL? "I will take Lomo's place in Jaedong's heart."
Predictions: + Show Spoiler +Results: + Show Spoiler +Recommended Games: + Show Spoiler +Game 2. + Show Spoiler + A lot of mistakes and poor decisions from both players, but it makes for an exciting, back and forth game. Much scrappier than your usual TvT.
Game 3 (Winners' Game). + Show Spoiler + Solid game from both players. Nice moves by the winner.

This is one group where anyone can advance.
Impossible to predict.

If Shine doesn't make it I'll be shocked. He should roll Shuttle and maybe lose 1 game vs. Hiya or ForGG.
Shine and ForGG are my predictions

I was editing and TLPD-izing. It's hard work

I liquibet Shine and fOrGG. I predicted HiyA and fOrGG elsewhere.
On the strength of that, I'm predicting Shine and Shuttle here, to maximize my chances of being right at least once.
|
These other guys are the pretenders. ForGG will never surrender.
|
ForGG and Hiya are both playing quite well imo. ForGG in particular seems to be playing past expectations. Hiya always seems to shine around this time.
Don't overlook Shine and Shuttle, both have the potential to take down these two but imo the 2 terrans will roll over them both and advance

Shut it Permaling. Magikarp sucks, all he does is splash. Splash!
