What is the luckiest thing that has ever happened to you?
My example is kind of boring... + Show Spoiler +when I was in 5th grade, living in Greenville, SC, I tried out for the school choir and didn't get in, for whatever reason. Because I really loved singing, my mom found a local choir for me to join as an after school activity, and, after I joined up, at some point during the year we went as a choir to see a performance by a touring choral group called the American Boychoir. The Boychoir was based out of a boarding school in Princeton, NJ. After the performance, they held auditions for the choir... I went up, auditioned, and got in.
Because I got rejected from my school choir, I was able to travel all over the country, doing what I love, and do other cool stuff like sing in Carnegie Hall a few times. Also, the school aggressively tried to get us into private high schools. Since my family isn't that well-off, we never even thought of sending me to private high school, but I was able to get into a really good one with lots of financial aid.
So yeah, post lucky things that have happened to you!

My life is very unlucky. I consider a lucky day to be one where no shit happens. Does that count?

I was born into a family that loves me.

I won $50 from a $1 scratch-off lottery ticket once. Other than that nothing really happens to me.
Oh, and once I nailed a 9. Does that count?

+ Show Spoiler +StarCraftZone.com - July 05, 2007
After running our Community Contribution Contest for two weeks, we would like to announce our lucky winner. We had some great new members sign up, who have all helped out greatly in making this community grow, and we thank you all. We hope you all still stick around to help SCZ flourish in the future.
Without further adieu, AfroFire has been named our winner for the contest and will receive 2 free tickets to this years BlizzCon event. His contributions helped out greatly with the success and activities we have seen so far here at SCZ. Congratulations AfroFire!
But wait!! SCZ has received an addition one ticket for a lucky SCZ member to win! We thought we would keep this a secret until the end and announce the winner for this now. We have taken the top 10 most contributive members here on the forums and randomly selected one to receive our final ticket of 3.
Venrae, get your bags packing too! You have been drawn for this third single ticket. - me ^_^
** Winners please contact me (xxkylexx) immediately via PM with the FULL NAME of those that will be using your ticket(s). This name must be exactly as it appears on your official ID. If you have not contacted me by tomorrow at 12pm (noon), we will have to give your ticket(s) to someone else.
We hope you all enjoy this year's BlizzCon. I wish we could give a ticket to everyone, but unfortunately that isn't possible.

When my cousin went back to Korea for vacation, I asked him for an autograph from Jaedong. He didn't only get me an autograph, he got me a freakin Lecaf (Lecaf at the time) FANBOOK WITH A JAEDONG AUTOGRAPH, a freakin pimp Jaedong headgear (things you see Jaedong fans wearing occasionally, like a ninja), and the balloons you bang together during the match.
My cousin's so freakin awesome.

I don't have large lucky events. I have small ones like I run into people I've been thinking about. Also sometimes I get away with not doing work because the teacher isn't there the day its suppose to be turned in or something. Thats all.

When I was 6, my school had a school-wide (say, 1000+ people) raffle to win this silly fucking baby chicken. For some reason, I really wanted it; probably something to do with it being really cute and me being 6 years old.
As most people do, you accept that you probably won't win a raffle between 1000+ people but I was hoping anyway that I might. I did.
I called it nugget. It laid eggs for my family for 6 years. My family has always had chickens ever since.

I applied to a college and didn't think about it for the next couple of months, doing other stuff. When it was nearly time for the college entrance exam, I started to learn a bit and for whatever reason thought that the exam was on a certain monday. Then, on thursday before, my mom told me that she had a random talk with her colleague. His doughter applied to the same college but was about to have the exam tommorow on friday. I was kinda like whatever, but nevertheless checked the internetz to find out which program had she applied for. It was the same program - and my exam was due on friday (tommorow) too. I'm finishing my masters this year ;]
