Comes out Oct 2 I love zombie films, And this one is probably no different than most others with just as much gore as there is humor. Woody Harrelson is usually great as well. Looks pretty good
After America is ravaged by a zombie plague, a lone band of survivors fights the living dead while they cross the nation. They stop in an amusement park, where they believe they will be safe.[2]
Characters have been named after the cities/towns that they've been rescued from or originated from.
Also, check out myspace running some extra clips and trailers on the main page.
I like zombie movies.. an interesting turn on the horror genre.. I like the real gritty, intense, scary and suspensful ones.. like 28 days/weeks later.. where the zombies are real fierce and unforgiving, not much like the Resident Evil ones which oddly enough, remind me of "comptuer controlled" zombies, like cannon-fodder.
I think a turning point in the zombie personaility style was in "land of the dead" where they introduced zombies that could partially think and use tools to help them out, like picking ups knives or something to stab a person, to kill them quicker, so they could eat etc. Now it seems to be the staple in zombies, that they are more intelligent..
Since this one is a comedy, there will surely be the "dumb ass zombie" moments, like luring them to death by ringing a dinner bell, but that is about like zombie intelligence anyway.. and more for comedic relief etc. But ya, it does look good - finally a comedy turn on the zombie genre.
