Braid is a very simple yet very fun and difficult puzzle game that deals with time travel. As far as indie games goes this is the cream of the crop. It was well worth it to pay the $15 before it went on sale!

Try the demo if you aren't sure you'll like it.

i played this on my friend's xbox. definitely worth a buy. steam's offering some kickass deals lately. i bought orangebox a few months back for $10 lol

i'd probably call this one of the single greatest games i've ever had the pleasure of playing. the story, the music, the graphics, the puzzles, the time manipulation. everything was perfect.

Question: Are there any upgrades to the character? Or do you always have the basic jump/reverse time? There's 2 puzzle pieces in one of the world 1 stages that I can't get, and I don't want to waste my time trying if it's impossible at this stage of the game anyways

@nortorius, iirc all puzzles are solvable the first time through. Keep trying.

i finished this game last night after buying it, and it was very good. I only got stuck on one puzzle piece in the 5th world i think, which i got by a way i dont know if was 100% right, but whatever =P.

Its a weekend deal and I think they end them at 00:00 Tuesday their time. If not then the deal probably ends tonight.

no! this isn't true. You can't do every puzzle the first time you walk into a room. But, your character is never upgraded. When you get through the entire first world you should be able to go back and get those straggling pieces.

There is only 2 puzzle pieces you cannot do first time through, the rest you can do the first time you see them.

Those 2 pieces are in world 2 door 2 i think.

I'm waiting for the price drop for the XBLA version. Great puzzle action adventure game.
