I think all the players who were dissatisfied with the lifestyle of their KeSPA team already left in 2010-11 to try their hands at GSL qualifiers. Besides that, they have responsibilities to train, and specifically to be practice partners for the better players of the team.

Looking back at what happened during gomtv classic, we are worried that this is something that could happen all over again well in to the future. Under the agreement of all ESF teams and players who are attending OSL(nestea, mvp, mc, drg, mkp, parting, san), we have agreed to boycott OSL. Reason stated are scattered all over the announcement but it's mostly because they are worried that GSL might be squeezed out and that might be the end of ESF as well. good for them.

Or like the Fifa only sending only under-23 national teams to Olympia to protect their own tournaments. O wait they exactly do that. Players in most sports are not free to partizipate where they want the clubs decide that.

The federation teams do not want to give too much power to KeSPA. It's not, but the article stated MC was in agreement with everyone else to not play along. It wouldn't make sense for MC to go by himself when he knows how Kespa is first hand.
