I fully agree with that, I mean lets have a look at how ret has lost ZvZ's in TSL:
Castro: one loss - too greedy/not enough lings
sen: first loss - too greedy/not enough lings
second loss - too greedy/not enough lings
third loss - too greedy/not enough lings
I mean at some point he has to stop, think for a second and go "oh he knows my weak spot is that I tend to make too few lings, I should just make a shitload of lings this game so he cant break me and then go into the muta-battle where I'll have to upper hand".
That's rets problem in a way, he has only played koreans in ZvZ. they often dont get like two controlgroups of lings and break right before mutas, they want it to go to mutas since they can micro like no one else. So it basically comes down to lack of experiance on rets part.

However it would be a lie to say that ZvZ doesn't have significantly more "upsets" in it, and that it isn't the most fickle matchup where being the better player wont neccessarily get you the victory (BO's, lings out of position, unlucky/lucky scouting etc). I think it's more that the better ZvZ player isnt considered the better "player" a lot of the time.
QFT. The subtlety of ZvZ is hard to appreciate if you havn't played 90123 ZvZs. I think those are required to understand where someone lost focus either in scouting, awareness of forces & base simultaneously, and of course the necessary micro that has to be organic and instinctual to be the best. Not saying I know any better, but from what I've heard of top players this is it, and of course some luck (OL scouting, base position + BO), but that's true of any mirror.

It's lucky that my real life cannot be affected in any tangible way by my internet postings, but for anyone else (currently in school or otherwise), this could be a real problem. I'd recommend Teamliquid stop such activities, for a myriad number of reasons.

Not really. He's just holding the guy accountable. If you're going to sit behind the safety of your computer screen and insult the appearance of others you better make damn sure you haven't got any photos of yourself online.
