Day 1 ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/raGVUNI.jpg) Jimmy, a first-year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was one of the last stragglers from the Sorting Ceremony, recently being sorted into Gryffindor and celebrating by stuffing his face full of pumpkin pie and treacle tart. He was still amazed by the magic and hallowed grounds, and was taking his time strolling around and observing all the spectacular sights inside of Hogwarts. All of a sudden, he heard a noise coming from a suit of armor. “The armor talks?” Jimmy wondered. Then, someone came out from behind the suit of armor, quickly covering Jimmy’s mouth with his face. It was Corazón, a sixth-year student who had seen everything in his time at Hogwarts. He whispered to Jimmy, “It’s not safe here, let’s find a hiding place and I will explain everything”. They quickly made their way to an empty transfiguration classroom. Corazón double checked to make sure they weren’t being followed and quietly shut the door. He asked Jimmy, “What’s your name?” “James Collins, but you can call me Jimmy. I’m a first-year. Who are you?” he responded, offering his hand. “My name is Corazón, at least that’s what everyone calls me. I’m a sixth-year, and a fellow Gryffindor.” Corazón replied, shaking Jimmy’s hand. “It’s not safe to be wearing the crest on your uniform, and it’s REALLY not safe to be wandering around the corridors alone. Ever since Gryffindor beat Slytherin by 5 points in the House Cup five years ago, Hogwarts has been in a state of open warfare. People are getting jinxed and hexed by the dozens every week. St. Mungo’s had to add a whole new floor for all of the new patients.” “Why can’t the teachers just deal with it?” Jimmy asked. “It’s not that simple. Hogwarts is a big school, if you haven’t noticed. The teachers can’t patrol everywhere and teach at the same time. It’s just impossible. The only way to get protection from the Slytherins is to join Dumbledore’s Army.” “Well that’s simple enough, how do I join?” “I will explain in all due time, but right now we need to get back to the Common Room. It’s almost curfew. Let’s get out of here.” Corazón motioned towards the door. “Don’t worry, I’ll keep you safe”. As soon as they walked out, they were approached by two big, bulky students, wands already drawn. Corazón drew his wand quickly and was ready to fight. The two students, Oatsmaster and Ghost_403 raised their wands, Oats saying, “Aww Corazón, isn’t that sweet. Are you running a daycare now? It doesn’t matter, we outnumber you!” Right when they said that, Jimmy noticed Corazón mouthing something with his wand. He beckoned for himself and Jimmy to take two steps to the right, and a few seconds later, all of the quills in the school slammed into Oats and Ghost from behind, the force driving them all the way to the wall in front of them. Corazón motioned to Jimmy, and said over his shoulder, “I guess the pen is mightier than the sword, and the wand!” Oatsmaster and Ghost_403 have been attacked by flying quills and have been taken to St. Mungo’s to recover! Hogwarts is in a state of open warfare! It is now Day 1. You have 48 hours to make a lynch decision. The deadline will be on Sunday at 01:00 GMT (+00:00) To vote, type ##Vote: Player in the thread. Important Note to all American players: The deadline is Saturday at 01:00 GMT (+00:00) for American players, and it is Sunday for the Europeans and the Australians. Oats just doesn't like making adjustments for other players =P | ||

I haven't read any of the books after Chamber of Secrets or Watched a movie sense Goblet of fire. Am I going to have to wikipedia Dumbledores Army to get most the flavor text? | ||
