So many epic games like the one above, game 2 at IEF one year and game 3 I believe it was in the OSL that Stork won. I hope Bisu come out on top this time, of course. Stork can have OSL :D.

And someone said that they wished Bisu would learn's Stork's PvT but I disagree. I much prefer Bisu's PvT, I just wish he would improve his own style lol.

Bisu's PvT is very cut and dry. He produces results but not as much flair as Stork's imo. Idk its subject to opinion I guess.

just like stork has a natural feeling for pvt, bisu has a natural feeling for pvz. bisu is obviously lacking the same understanding of pvt, and storks pvz is always a really nerve-wrecking chaos....

But he doesn't. He consistently gets kicked out of starleagues by losing to various terrans. While whenever Stork sees terran in BoX, it usually ends ridiculously one-sided in Stork's favor.

Bisu has good PvT record because he kills terrans in the proleague. But when his opponent prepares against him, he becomes a lot less awesome at it.

I dont know. I dont think of Stork as having an aura of domination, but neither do i think that of Bisu, or any other player really.
Through high and low, bisu boy, through high and low.

i just looked it up:

stork has lost the following BoX series against terran:

to mvp in gom classic season 3 in 09
to flash in bacchus osl in 08
to flash in the gsi finals in 08 (flash had just invented his double armory build at that time and was stomping stork with a build which he couldnt analyse appropriately in the short timeframe between these 2 finals...)
to iris in daum osl in 07
to midas in the mbc survivor tournament in 05

so in over 251 played games against terran, over the course of 6 years, stork has lost only 5 BoX series against terrans, of which one was in the mbc survivor at at time when stork wasnt a dominant force on the scene yet, one to flash in a series where flash was showing his new build for the first time which would proceed to become a staple of modern tvp, and to mvp in a league that stork probably didnt really care or prepare for...

this leaves us with 2 "serious" defeats against terrans in boX. and as i mentioned above, flashs sweep of stork in the bacchus finals can be explained by the short amount of time between it and the gsi finals; too few time to find out weaknesses of a build as monstrously strong as flashs double armory build.

so basically, if stork is in good shape and its not against flash, he does not lose BoX pvts.. it just wont happen.

while im a bisu fan more than a stork fan (although i love both!), i dont think bisu should be above stork. stork has been consistently very good for months, is still in both leagues, has gained momentum this month, has once again a ridiculously scary pvt at the moment and has a general aura of domination with him.

bisu has the better stats and the traditionally better pvz.. but at the same time he is out of one league and many many ppl, even many of his fans, were seriously doubting him to make it out of his msl group. bisu was questioned. had he lost the msl group games, he would be somewhere on #8 or so on this PR. he had to prove himself because there was still massive doubt about him. he erased this doubt with stellar play, so he definitely deserves his top2 spot, but the pure fact that he was questioned shows that he is still lacking the aura of dominance that stork has atm. stork wasnt doubted by anyone this whole month....

all in all, its a great PR. and pleasantly on time this time.

If Stork was in a group against Shine, Kal and Really, people would question his ability to advance too because that's a hard group. Not as much as Bisu, but still. I personally believe Bisu is playing better, but Stork still deserves it for the dual leagues.
He may not be able to use carriers while playing cellphone games(is there a pun somewhere in here?), but he can still make zergs' lives a living hell while having awesome hair.

well, i think there is a broad consensus that stork and bisu belong to the top2 spots this month and that right now there is not much separating them. luckily for us, the question of who the leader of the recent surge of protoss is will be answered by the msl ro16 game between them.

edit: ppl were not only questioning bisu because his group was really strong, they were also questioning him because he had been failing quite a lot recently against both kal and shine.

In my opinion one bo3 isn't going to determine which one is the best. For example, if Bisu defeats Stork and goes on to win the MSL while Stork goes on to win the OSL I wouldn't necessarily say that Bisu is the better player.

The bo3 they have coming is going to be really cool to watch and I'm sure people will claim that Stork or Bisu is the "best Protoss" after it's over but I think we'll have to wait and see how the rest of the MSL/OSL and Proleague plays out to make that call.

As a Bisu fan, I can confidently say that I think Stork is a bit scarier and probably better right now. But Bisu beating Stork in the MSL isn't going to convince me that Bisu is better than Stork...unless of course Bisu absolutely demolishes Stork and it isn't even close.

The only "recent" BoXs that Bisu has lost to terrans was one to go.go., The Ro4 match against Fantasy, and the Avalon MSL Bo5 against Iris. Those are three that come to mind. While his wins are a Bo3 against Flash in WCG Korea, Bo3 against Mind last OSL, Bo3 against Baby in WCG 2010. He wins some and loses some.

lol this is seriously the worst power ranking i have ever seen in my life.

The ranking seems to put some ridiculous weight on being in OSL/MSL -- really? Enough to put Stork over Bisu, when Stork suffered some embarrassing losses recently? I dunno, that's just arbitrary bullshit to me lol.

Flash is bonjwa but he's #5? That's utter nonsense -- if Flash is not PR #1, he is not bonjwa, let it be that. Drop the arbitrary title if you're going to admit he's not the scariest player at the moment.

And then you have Kal magically at 3rd. Have you seen him play in the Proleague? I think you got swept a little too much by Kal vs Shine or something, because Kal is 1-4 in Proleague.

Hogil #10? It makes me wonder if you even WATCHED the games that Hogil actually played -- they hardly resembled Hogil actually playing well.

This is seriously disgusting lol. honestly looks like some sort of ridiculous fanboyism and arbitrary and easily swayed rankings. If your rankings shift that much in 15 days then well, I question the quality of the rankings before =/

First of all, players barely practice for WCGs. So it's hardly comparable to OSL/MSL. And second of, it seem as a Bisu fan you're blocking out his most recent loss in a PvT BoX as if it didn't exist. Here's a hint: the terran's pretty popular here.

Look, if one were to argue that Bisu's superior player to Stork, I think there's a good case for it. I do think his PvZ and PvP are superior at this point, although Stork's recent PvP crapola may just be an aberration.

But there's no case for any protoss to reach Stork's status in PvT. There just isn't.

Ahh...Flash as the only terran on PR. It's such a bad season to be a fan of terran players...they all seem to simply get rolled by toss whether it's map imba or bad decisions or whatever. It also seems like P has T all figured out even more so than before, and plus they really are stepping up overall.

Pained at the lack of Yum Bo Sung and Lee Jae Ho even from CNBC and shoutouts...Ssak, Mind, and Classic are all very bland. I'm really hoping Midas pulls an upset.
Flash, Sea[Shield], BaBy, Light -- Terran ftw!

Honestly, like a lot of guys like you said it before, this is really a bad bad PR. Stork is doing a great job recently but he's definetly not the number #1. Bisu's #2 is ok. Kal # 3? wtf? Jaedong #4?? WTF? Flash #5 ??? WTF???? Actually there is no doubt that Flash should still put on 1st place even he's out of MSL/OSL. There is no other player who shines out that much fear to the other players. IMO #1 Flash #2 Bisu #3Jaedong, because the dong isn't doing such an impressive job like Bisu in PL.

Until I see Stork beating Flash and Jaedong in a BO 3 at least I cannot consider him the best player. The new maps helps a lot. I mean suddenly protoss players have so much success... it has to do something with the maps. Just my 2 cents!

i am truly fucking amazed.
id say this PR would be a little off, if you count a month's value as 80% and history's value as 20% even. is it, now?
a month ago, the number 1 spot was for 'listing achievements flash has done during that month', and now he's 5th. + Show Spoiler +
flash is ONLY 7-5 this month (u guys are probably like 'holy shit, u for real bro? thats horrible!' thats actl rather close to kal's career win percentage)

JAEDONG (omg i love u jaedong), who is 10-5 this month (again, horrible as hell, i mean COME ON MAN THAT'S ONLY 66.6%) lost to hogil and hiya. fine, completely unacceptable. but really, who would argue against the game against hiya being a serious fluke that probably happens in a very very rare blue moon? against hogil, really horrid and slooppy, unexcusable, but SERIOUSLY, STILL. would u be more scared of bisu than jd when it comes to vZ? bisu lost to a slumping action because he let it get to macro game.
enough on that.
stork has a superb and fantastic month, no one can really disagree, fine. but come to his vT (probably the current best vT as well), and do u think he would say that hes actl rather close to flash's vP yet?
the gap between JF and basically 'everyone else' is thinning, with JF's losses helping that thin faster, but there is way more for everyone to do before they come really close to JF.
also, who in the top 3 is truly DOMINATING like JF when they were at peaks? perhaps stork/bisu, but for so damn long? and now with wr of JUST ONLY SLIGHTLY ABOVE 50%', they get dropped to 4th and 5th.
id say requestion whos 1st and whos 2nd for JF, and sort out the protosses 3rd 4th and 5th.
when bisu starts losing again, see how tough it is to drop him simply because youve experienced his amazingly overhyped recovery before. but not for JF eh.

Yeah Bisu's play is soooooooooooooooooooooo inspiring...
Embarassing loss like to Lucifer yeah ? Which are the others exactly ? At the very limit, the first to Shine I guess.
You're pretty lucky that Bisu had a BO win against Kal, because it's the only reason he's at
And, guess what, you're also putting an arbitrary weight on PL. Honestly what would you have wanted ? What would you have done ? Noo ne is really dominating atm, and no one is playing well in all three match up.
I don't see for instance, how you could put Jaedong over Kal with Jaedong's play.
I'd say you have your own biases and you're own way of ranking, which might explain why some people are happy about this PR, and some are saying it's utter crap.
If I want a non-arbitrary PR, I go check TPLD, or Kespa's ranking.
And as for fanboyism, there has been much much worse on the PR in the past.

I have no idea how you justified putting these as you did, you just... Did and made me agree without thinking much about what I agreed to, hallmark of a good writer.
