I refuse to play TMM EVER AGAIN until those fucking dumbass mass attack/retreat/invincibility things are removed

god. with no skill at all you can instantly cripple an opponent doing 10x better than you

no none of those will cripple an opponent doing 10x better. mass attack = he kills you asap. mass retreat = he has to spend some time putting his workers back. invincibility = I have never seen anyone cripple the winning opponent with this, but it would be really cool if they did .

and considering some of the other things they can get instead, I don't think it's overpowered. but if you can show us people abusing it then I'll reconsider .

start an attack => invincibility for so long (it lasts a while beyond the counter) => half our troops dying. it's like casting a 20second stasis on half the troops while the other half just dies

in the last attack, choosing mass retreat caused a huge pileup at our nexus. my base design that made for awesomezorz unit production efficiency just led to everything being trapped around my nexus unable to get out.

suffice to say they was fighting our units one by one and destroying the whole infrastructure, while simultaneously having fun raping our expoes

i just think they're dumb things that would be considered ludicrous if blizzard included them in melee. TMM is a good skill-based game otherwise, but including those just makes it cheesy like so many other lame UMS

GI: rep? Sounds like they made good use of those bonuses . But I would like to see how things could have been done differently.

Also, we need to give the other team props for using those rarely-used bonuses so effectively .

units going back got back fine, but units coming out either had to attack-move (which meant they were stalled by my units in my choke stopping to fire) or manually move (which got them raped anyway)

GrandInquisitor maybe you should plan your base layout better then If it's strong due to your base layout, try using a different one. Personally, I've never seen that bonus be worthwhile.

T_T i think i was 130+ psi, and that undoubtedly made a difference. coupled with the fact that they were attacking at the same time, and i think it's a pretty strong bonus regardless of base layout

besides, units would have caught up on each other anyway. bw pathfinding ftl =(
