Will there be the gg rule?

1. The "GG Rule" - The losing player must signify his defeat by typing "GG" before leaving the game. Failure to do so will result in the disqualification of you and your team from the tournament and a temporary ban from future events.

Yeah really need solid Disconnect and patch rules, aka if patch within X days of match, postpone it or w.e.

You guys can use standard TSL rules if you wish, I can volunteer myself and other TSL admins as refs if you want. We don't have to be in game, but we can be a neutral party when it comes to players being late or discing or w/e. If you both agree to it, obviously.

Or you can get KingAnsadi to do it for max entertainment value.

Don't be stupid, this is a grudge match.
The only rule is make the other player leave the game first.
Don't hate the player - Hate the game

that's kind of ridiculous. idra lives in the cj house, if he wants to have any future with them playing sc2, he's not going to hack

I think this is very unwise. 500 is a lot to this guy and 2 years in the Korean pro gaming scene has probably made him a little more cut throat.

Rofl sitting in front of your computer for 12 hours a day 2 years straight makes you a cut throat?

You don't know what some low team rankers would be capable of doing for even a single cup of ramen.

Pro gaming has always been all about survival, not Starcraft.

I think you should have a neutral 3rd party observe all replays from his perspective and decide whether there was a hack used. Maybe some neutral teamliquid poster and float him like 10 bucks for his efforts.

You and Maynard have become so delusional about the way progaming works. It's annoying to see both of you post assumptions based on an experience 10 years ago. Do you honestly not understand that things change over such a long period of time. The way progaming works nowadays is many times more professional than before. With companies pumping millions into teams do you genuinely think some team manager would risk this by letting his players cheat in front of him?

Progaming was about survival for you because you weren't making jack shit not even enough to provide rent. These days at least every single individual associated with progaming has food and shelter and oftentimes a small salary on top of it. Even the poorest players share the same sponsor with the big names and are associated with large teams that bare responsibility for their players.

Morally there hasn't been a change of attitude in how much a progamer would do to be successful. Back in the day you could get away with it because of incompetent organizations such as WCG and KBK with their ridiculous online qualifiers, and no central organ judging players caught cheating whatsoever. Progaming today these kids are not necessarily better persons or anything like that but the setting in which it operates simply doesn't allow these slip ups anymore.

I should go down to the Estro house and buy them all a cup of ramen.
Can't believe I'm still here playing this same game

Maybe it should be a BO7 there's a lot of money, and if both players are going to practice for it no reason to no have more games imo.
