Basically i'm counting on jaehoon only being good at all kill format. I have horrible experiences with shine on my team, so i banished him to my antiteam. Baby impressed me a lot in code s. He did not advance, and i know participating in code s brings certain weaknesses, but i take the risk. Taeja has disappointed as a captain (not entirely his fault), so hydra takes that spot, for no particular reason.
I haven't looked at the first matches yet, so this may not be very wise.
wasnt classic the guy that lost to thorzain or were they scheduled to play at one point and it wasnt needed? i cant recall, if so, then puma might win! EDIT:

Jaehoon/Argo got quite alot of points in round1 as well, about 15 if im not mistaken. He's prolly not worth the 8 points but he'll get quite alot of points i imagine. Also, shine is bad so antiteam is where he should go (imo)
This round is the most frightening for anti-teams so far. A lot of the higher ranked players are super good and any one of them could be the team toppler. I'm hoping free sits down and stays down...And I don't feel good about soO, but better than the other 4's. Bisu's inconsistent appearances make him the only "easy" pick on this Anti Team.
herO, Wooki, and Soulkey played like champs last round and I think they're undervalued. herO, despite not being the HerO of my heart, is deadly in the booth. Bbyong is a superb steal at 2, and Thorzain can win against Koreans in this format and the most likely foreigner to appear, at least for now. With those steals I suddenly had 11 points left, and without any decent nines, I suddenly had 10 points left for Flash. Awesome. I may end up trading him for Stephano later, depending on how he plays. But I believe the 5's are where the meat lies this round and can't wait to see it happen. I'm hedging my bets with STX, maybe they can nab a point or two. I would have preferred EGL, who are vastly underperforming with the talent they have, but alas, poor Yorrick, the're valued 2.
Main Team 3 Bravo(hon_sin) - 3 pointer, kind of a point filler, but has value from being in WJS and even getting to play for sure. Not necessarily the strongest part of my team. 3 Crazy-Hydra - Again, except I think CH is a steal at 3 points, he did well in round 1, is on a winning team and didnt get to play much in r2. Even with him playing fanta week 1, it should be ok. He is in the core of KT in this pl format. 10 Flash (captain) - By far the best player in PL right now, dont take my word for it, just look at the stats. He is 15-6 right now when the second place is solidly behind him and with more losses. He will not end the round with a negative set score, no way. Hence the captain and a pick i am most sure of. 5 P7GAB(Wooki) - Another good player from KT, who is not only underpriced at 5 but also has an easier opponent this week than other Ps (stats v rain / hero v jangbi), so a good deal overall. 6 Innovation(Bogus)- A 6 point guaranteed ace, or at least to a greater extent than other teams (bar KT ofc), at 6 points and i think he will do well this round. 2 sKyHigh- Seems like a good choice as a two point filler, who is likely to get playtime on a typically winning team, cant say that about other 2 pointers. 1 SK Telecom T1- We all know how they are doing at the moment, but i feel like they are bound to bounce back, they were after all a top team in this format in round, expect good things from them in the long run.
Anti Team 7 HerO - I dont know, nobody seems to have him on his anti, but i think he is overpriced in this format, i doubt he will get to play ace matches, and even if he does he is likely to lose given his nerve issues. Nothing personal, love the guy- but this is FPL. 2 Huk - No playtime / lose are the only two options out there for huk. Sad as it is, always a solid anti pick, has done well for me for the past two rounds. 4 Terminator(Sang) - Has had a decent start at round 2, but i think he is overpriced at 4, will not put many wins on the table for t8 imo.
Happy with my team, although its performance will largely depend on the performance of KT, thus increasing risk, though i am confident that extra returns will be worth it. I expect KT to crush.

This is my first time ever playing Fantasy Proleague/GSTL, my choices are terrible and my team is going to sink like a ship, but here we go!
Also, quite a few of my picks were based on Round 1, seeing as this is the same format and not all-kill, though it has been a while... I did need something to base them on.
Main Team 5 Action Will most likely play every single match for KT. He plays against Sacsri in the first week and should be able to take the game. Only risk during the first week is KT actually winning the match before he gets to play. Out of the 5-point players he has the most overall points and the best average points/cost-ratio per round (3.70) across the first two rounds. 5 herO[jOin] Another core player for CJ with the possibility the play ace matches. Although his results in round 2 were lacking he still has a fairly decent points/cost ratio of 3.50... Opening match is a bit of a gamble but alas, you can never play without gambling. 5 P7GAB(Wooki) Same as the two players above, solid player with a medium cost. He should win his first game if nothing too crazy happens. Was kinda torn between him and Stats but the latter will go against Rain in the first match and I can still trade them after the first week. His average points/cost per round of 3.40 is slightly worse than that of his fellow KT protoss but still fairly good. 8 sOs(Shy) My only real heavy-hitter, another player who will play every single match and has a good chance at appearing as his team's ace. Out of the 8-point players he has the highest points/cost (2.81) and is placed third when it comes to points gained overall. I don't see him performing poorly. 5 Soulkey Yeah, this is a gamble... Although he will play every time aswell it's a huge question mark in which form he shows up this time around. While his points/cost-ratio of 3.40 is average among the 5-point players it's only due to his strong performance in the first round. The opening match for him will be against Cure which could go either way. 1 Swift (captain) Went for a WJS terran as the 1-point player since his team should win a good amount of matches and I don't really like to ride the KT-train. Needed a terran to meet the rules, appointed him as captain since trading 1-point players is almost never a good idea. 1 SK Telecom T1 Quite a steal for only 1 point. The team's point/cost ratio of 12.00 is more than twice as much as any other team. While I don't see them finishing this round as the top scoring team it should be enough to justify it.
Anti Team 3 Reality Didn't do too well in the previous rounds and should lose to Bong in his opening game. 3 s2 Same applies to him aswell. Opening match against Flash and only gained terrible 3 points during the second round. 7 Stork Another gamble, hooray! Overrated at 7 points and should lose to Hydra in his first game. After that I will trade him for TaeJa most likely, depending on the news coming from that direction. He could end up wrecking my anti-team though, just like he did last round :/
Main Team Crazy to go for really high point players seeing how a lot of players have improved and can take wins. A lot of good players at 3-5points, like a big smörgåsbord!
So theres a lot of players that you can pick, mine are done based on who I think will win their matches in Week1. But seeing how many players there are that could be good picks it's very possible that I may switch some players around, it's not about winning Week1 but actually winning in the end! So players like Classic thats pretty awful, if he don't meet another awful terran he won't be scoring any more points.
Anti Team
I'll just bite the bullet and try to get as few points possible, with so many good players at 4-5p I rather go for a choking big point player like HerO that hopefully don't even get to play in Week1.
And fill in with some so-so players, they will be changed or at least Bravo(hon_sin), seeing how he haven't played in the all-kill format he could just be a killing machine now in TvT and TvP.
I went for a much more well rounded team this round. Last round I had half "high value" players and half 3 or less. Quick thoughts-I have to many zergs for my liking lol, but between Zero and others my Antiteam got killed last round, if it wasn't for that I might have finished top 150. But really liking my team stat-wise, guess I'm just racist vs Zerg lol. Also, as many of you have pointed out, the anti team was really hard to chose this round, wish I could've picked taeja.
Main Well I'm a Stars fan so in every round I have tried to go for a WJS based team. I am happy that free[gm] did well because that meant that some other players' price was inflated a bit. It is hard to switch back to the normal PL round where you have to apply different logic when making your team.
This was the first round I left out Fanta. He's obviously the super-ace of SKT but I felt I am better with not splitting up my team, for now.
Light, BrAvO, and SoulKey are all a steal for their respective points I feel. I was thinking between choosing JangBi - Stork, both who are having a major resurrection, or ZerO, as my point-heavy star, and went with ZerO as he has been pretty consistant in all MUs, and in both rounds.
Dear was pretty cheap, and I wanted to have at least one other guy who plays on a weekly basis, and is a middle-ground player (I also was in dire need of a protoss after folding on Jangbi and Stork, and WJS only has superstars in that regard, or players with limited exposure, playtime).
Of course I am afraid I am overly dependant on one team, in my first round I had SKT (Fanta), STX (Bogus, Dear), and then some WJS, and even in the second round I kept going with Fanta and HoeJJa to have a more balanced distribution team-wise.
Anti
Ahh, this is always hard. I am basically trying to figure out which heavy hitter in the higher territory is (will) slump, and when choosing I remembered as if HerO was always losing recently.
The other two should just not play, and hopefully they'll deliver on that.
I had no heart in picking Bisu, but he's at least a safe trade if anything goes horribly wrong. (+ Shine's 1-6 is so ridicoulusly bad, I hope he's not gonna start playing well.)
My reasoning behind this team was, that in a tragic twist of circumstances every underperforming player would suddenly outclass the now slumping SKT and KT aces.
Since you're obviously trying for the lowest score, shouldn't you have picked all 1 point players for your main team?
No, because they never play which means they can't lose ^^

not being in the lineup and losing ends in the same points total - 0. only the one that loses ace can get negative points (like shine did in R1, and someone else, forgot who)
