If you're copying fits from PL, make sure you're copying fits from one of their better corps like HABIT. I must dispute that HABIT is one of the better corps in PL. | ||

1) What is the value in a pvp setting for more specialty ships. As I understand it the purpose of the rifter is to disable ships which is no doubt very valuable, but are there a lot of different roles that can be useful in small engagements? I have always been fond of crowd control/ support roles in games. If there are any resources that outline pvp in a more detailed manner I'd appreciate it a lot. 2) I've been told that I'll be rushing a drake as it is currently the cool thing to do(I have no problem with this). Is it realistic to try a manticore on the way? Is the manticore and the covert ops in general just not practical? 3) I will probably just buy a 2 month game card at first but is it practical to pay for the game through isk alone? It isn't so much about the money as it is about the feeling of accomplishment beyond the game. I know that if I could have payed for WoW with in-game currency it would have driven me to make money in that game which is an aspect I enjoyed but often neglected. | ||

Every new player wants to fly a stealth bomber but they're not very useful for any of the things we do. You sound like you'd like recon ships (which specialise in ranged ewar) and we like all of those. | ||
