it might have been watchable if Eren + Show Spoiler [do I really still have to spoiler this?] +
would have stayed dead... guy's the most annoying MC I've ever seen, only topped by Touma from Index...

yea i probably wouldnt enjoy it if i have to wait every week but i watch all of it in one setting so it was good lol. i just wish eren ccouldnt transform to a titan. i rather see him fight with the 3D maneuver thing.

Well I don't like him either, but for example that blonde from Magi was worse imo. If you know that anime. I'd still like to watch more of it though, but it's gonna take a while for the 2nd season of Magi i heard.

6 episodes into Claymore I really got to like it, sad to hear it will have a shitty ending. Is there an anime/manga where the consensus is not "the ending sucks"? I'm yet to find one - and it's not even like anime watchers are bitchy, the creators really pull some dumb stuff towards the end.

MN is brutal, but not as much as EL.

Also, MN is beautiful, if you watch it in 720p or better. I didn't hold it againts Elfen Lied, because it's a much older anime, but Mira Nikki is very colourful and well-detailed.


Any other animes (recent ones preferred with 720p+) that are just like Elfen Lied? Took a really long hiatus from anime, and only watched the standard duo + a few others like Death Note, Geass, etc., but the dark/tragic/horror/violence really grasped my attention. I really enjoyed Fate Night Stay (?), Claymore, Proxy something (?).. basically pretty much anything that has a complex plot with action and dark undertones. Any suggestions is appreciated!

I'm sad you are not sold on MN.

lots of stuff to look forward to next season, I would say it looks like a great season but it has the gigantic black mark of the absolute worst thing ever to be conceived in the minds of the otaku industry, white album 2.

I'm sad you are not sold on MN.

The claymore manga is still pretty good. I first watched the anime till episode 22 and then started reading the manga from chapter 59 it just continues the story.
