I think it's slightly heavier than a death adder, the teflon feet make it feel like it is part of your hand though. | ||

Took me a while to get used to the sensitivity and the larger size, but I'm finally getting used to the speed at which the mouse operates. Had to boot into Windows to update the firmware, but now all is well on the Mac side. Drivers work awesome, the mouse is extremely smooth with the Steelseries QCK pad. Showing off the lights when I feel like it adds a nice touch. Overall, very awesome mouse and satisfied with my purchases. | ||

When my MX518 died, I chose the G500 because I was used to Logitech's design with the ergonomic grip (for my hands at least).  Buttons are good and responsive.I use it on a func 1030 mat I've been using for like 7 years now. | ||

Not to say that they're necessarily poor quality, but their prices are inflated far more than other brands (MS, Logitech, whoever). | ||
