Razer Deathadder here, very happy with it. big improvement from the logitech wireless mouse i had. I've used the logitech mx518 and it was pleasant to use.

Cuts your DPI by a fixed amount while you hold it down, presumably to snipe someone in the face with greater accuracy.

Razer Abyssus

Comfortable shape, seems pretty accurate. My only complain is the rubber cover on top. Why???

Im currently using the Deathadder and its awesome.
If I would only play SC2 I'd go with Abyssus, but the DA is better for MMO's and browsing (side buttons).

No offence, but sounds like you know nothing about mice then...

FIRST OF ALL it uses the Philips Twin Fail sensor... And that's BEFORE the weight, the problems with flexing, the size (may not be a prob for some) and so on...

Do not buy the RAT if you are after performance rather than looks!

Go for the XAI if you have the cash, maybe a Diamondback if you do not...

Xai is definitley best mouse out there if you don't care about it being left and right handed, and honestly, you shouldn't

Yes I dont know anything about mice, but all I know is that mouse is the best one I've ever used. You have your opinion, I have mine.

I have both a Xai and a Logitech G9. I really like both but I slightly prefer the G9. It seems to fit my hand better. It's hard to describe but I feel more 'confident' in the way I can grip it; I don't feel like the mouse will fly out of my hands. Strangely enough, I end up spending more time on my Xai however, because I brought it to use at work. I couldn't stand the crappy Dell mouse that the IT department provided for me.

Just got my Logitech G9x, fits my hand perfectly! Used a MX518 before that, but I feel the G9x fits my fingergrip so much better.

no wonder. mx518 is fitting best to palmgrip, while g9/x is strictly for fingertip-/clawgrip.

the g9x is simply not useable for palmgrippers. unless u are a midget with corresponding handsize

i bought the g9x after the whole fruitdealer hype only to return it to the store 2 days later. It's simply to heavy for me even without all the additional weights. Im back on my Abyssus now which has a very nice and comfortable shape and is also very light.

after my logitech mini broke (only used it for bw/sc2) i started playing with my g9 but its way to heavy for mass gaming T_T
so i need a new sc2 mouse maybe kinzu or the abyssus not sure yet

Actually you just change it from palm to the upper most part of the palm which is frankly a better position for your hand as the high palm arch only makes the likelihood of carpool tunnel syn, but then again the design is based on ergonomics rather then how some people play games.

But yeah i'd probably like a G500 if i had a palm grip but it feels so unnatural to move a mouse like that for me i can't really say.
