Every once in a while I want to play SC2 again, but then I'm reminded by how horrible ZvP is. It isn't a balance thing, it is just boring. Force Fields and Vortex are so stupid, but if the Protoss didn't have it, Zerg could a-move to win.

so I've been a long time Idra fan, certainly plenty of posts in this thread.. but recently Idra has been seriously embarrassing to even be a fan of.
I'm starting to wonder if EG is secretly telling him to play worse and act more and more sensational because they've realized his brand is more valuable than any skill/practice/accomplishment Idra could produce.

It's the decision making with them that loses him games. Neural against Mothership is close to impossible against a player with good control, I feel. Huk's control is top notch, so I don't see him fucking up so bad taht Idra got in range with infestors. He tried it several times, but Huk's control is better than Idra, so the infestor was just sniped or feedbacked before it got something done. He probably could've pulled it off once or twice if he really went out of his way to get it, but I think there were other things to prioritize, like actually pushing before the Mothership has 2 bloody vortexes, or actually splitting his Blords effectively...

Yeah, the last truly interesting PvZ games were by Leenock. His 6 pool into other random aggression builds were fascinating. But they got figured out way too fast. I was never a fan of the base-trade muta style, but others might have preferred those and you still saw them a month or two ago.

He has potential, and he has changed. Those statements are kind of been proven wrong over the last year... If he didn't have potential, then he wouldn't be the foreigner BW ''Bonjwa'' or one of the best foreigners today. If you've followed Idra entire 2011 you can see he has clearly changed. Not all good yet apparently, but he has a lot better mindset I think

Even the man himself commentated his gas timings.
And screw this, its not about getting that neural done, its to force a vortex or something because huk had a mothership
out infront of his army several times. But nope he got his infestors vortexed for some reason when they could have been at the spines or spread out.
Huk's control isn't even that good, it was idra who lost those series not huk who won them. I hope he fucking gets it together so he can win. And not throw away games.

someone asked advices of what he could do better in the game, and idra just said "you're bad'', and that was february this year
idra will NEVER change, i can guarantee that.. if he changes, is because he NEEDS to, but once he gets in a situation where he can be bm, im pretty sure he'll act like the old idra
he will always be mediocre in this game compared to other good zergs in the world. just because he made good results in 2010, 2011 and now he's playing poorly doesn't man he's changed or smth like that.. simply other players got better , more competitive while he stucks with old mindset
