Idra will always be Idra, I can agree to that, but refusing to give random ladder players tips, you can't expect that of him... You're wrong, Idra has changed since the days he left against MMA. This one series is not going to disprove that

If he didn't have potential, then he wouldn't be the foreigner BW ''Bonjwa'' or one of the best foreigners today. If you've followed Idra entire 2011 you can see he has clearly changed. Not all good yet apparently, but he has a lot better mindset I think Well tbh the BW foreigner scene had incontrol as top player. Not really the same level of competition

They couldn't raise themselves to where Idra got himself, and they couldnt't stomach the Korean houses like he did. I just think it's wrong to say he got where he got without potential, though I do agree the foreigner BW scene wasn't much beyond the 3 players mentioned ![]()

Not immediately assuming that every1 who doesn't ride his dick, make excuses for his losses or show anything but unwavering support is a hater. Isn't this the second showmatch in a row he;s given up and 6 pooled twice? Even as an Idra fan I can say thats pathetic and embarrassing.

The way I see IdrA play now is very confusing, he makes really wierd decisions when it comes to expos, when and where to engage, and his timings. His mechanics used to be some of the best, but nowadays they are above average and very good, but his multi task and macro just aren't godly like people used to see them as. IdrA's performance has been underwhelming but not terrible (70 percent on ladder is fucking wierd though... he was like 90 percent when he just came back from Korea), he beat Min, Inori, THORZAIN, MVP, Cruncher(negligible), and Domorin. He looks so weak vs protoss though, and far from perfect against t. He is not a top 5 foreigner in his current form, but he can definitely get back to his past position, as king foreigner zerg and top 5-10 zerg in the world. <3 IdrA Well, in SC2, success seems to come in waves. Remember when Leenock rode his wave? Or MC? Or Bomber? All of them then fell from grace and fell hard. They then rose up again. It's the same with Idra, he'll have slumps and he'll rise up again when he figures out something nice and the meta-game favours his particular skill set. This is the age of Protoss, so it's not surprising Idra is doing worst at the moment. Give it time, his mechanics will bring him to the top again when circumstances are more favourable.

Also, I don't see Idra as a very adaptive player either, so with such a heavily shifting metagame it's practically impossible for him to stay consistently on top. If he sticks it out to the point where the metagame settles down I think he'll thrive. This is just speculation though

If you come into a fanclub to complain about IdrA in a way that has absolutely 0 positive connotations, then you're a hater. Why the fuck would you come into a fanclub to complain or badmouth IdrA? I don't have a problem with haters posting the stuff they do in here in Live Report threads and whatnot because IdrA is doing badly right now, and they have every right to criticize. But when you come in a fanclub and post the same shit, it is inciteful and serves no purpose other than to clutter the thread with stuff that we already heard 1000000 times and/or piss us off. We don't hate people who don't ride IdrA's dick, we just hate assholes.

I'm not saying he's gonna retire (at the ripe age of... what, 22? 21?), just saying he should probably take a break or something, He even played during the winter holidays when everyone else was vacationing. I might be wrong, I just miss the days of IdrA's domination. Hope he can come back. He took a break in early-mid 2011 (are my times right?)...then he improved and fell back down then improved and now he's where he is at right now...but he hasn't been hardcore practicing in Korea very recently, so IDK if he needs a break. IMO, he might need to take a break from tournaments, and just go hardcore in Korea once again.

![]() So Those were 3 shitty games and 1 decent one. the dt rush and the 2 6 pools weren't fun to watch at all, game 2 was pretty fun, damn shame he didn't win cause he played the cool style instead of going boring 12 min push ![]()

His poor performance vsHuk wasn't impressive, but for some reason I don't really care that he lost the series. PvZ is a shit match up, both ways. It might not be imbalanced but it is broken and boring to watch. I didn't enjoy a single game of that series and I went to play LoL (with the commentary running) when he 6 pooled. It's more entertaining to watch him stream than it is to watch him play in tournaments because seeing one of the best macro zergs play is always great. Not perfect but still pretty fucking damn good. Pretty sure that Idra'll pull through and win something big this year anyway. Look what happened to Thorzain. It's like, 1 huge win and then nothing... then another good win vs Polt.
