In the end god saves everybody from a race of not so bright aliens, and a hunky minister regains his faith in the lord. All sarcasm aside, it wasn't that bad.

movie was absolutely horrible. I personally sent the studio who made it a letter asking for my 7.95 back. Still havent gotten it, cheap assholes.

i kind of liked it the only problem was the ending ... come up with a more origional thing than "alergic to water" and it is an above average movie.

i was expecting an ending like in the 6th sens...
but what i got was a guy destroying water glasses with a baseball bat !!

i liked the movie except the last 10 minutes

no one ever thought that maybe the aliens were only hurt by water in its liquid form but not by its other forms ?!?!? if you wanna get technical i think it is a possibility ^_^

If by the ending you mean the little boy not dying...he has asthma, which closes up your airways, preventing the alien's toxic gas from entering his lungs. Thus, he lives. And yes, it isn't a movie about an alien invasion. This was a movie about a man recovering his broken faith. I think it was a pretty mediocre movie, but with The Sixth Sense, Shymalan set the bar a little too high for himself.

I liked Signs, but I think Signs is only good with at least a big screen and real HQ surround sound home theater. I saw it at the movie theatre and found it very immersive, with all the panoramic, outside, audio, environmental cues. But I can see it sucking if you watch it off a computer, or even a home television.

Yes I see it now. In the movie he has left the priest hood for his wife was killed by the char that MNS plays. And the brother loves baseball yet his strike out average plagues his chances. And when they are watching the TV that shows the UFO's over Mexico he describes the 2 "groups" his brother is in the one that believe this is some sort of miracle and that they are not alone. Mel on the otherhand believes that this means nothing and that they are on their own. And when he starts having flashbacks of the night his wife died and she tells him to tell his brother to swing at everything, thus when the alien has the boy and tries to poison him, the boys ashtma attack that he had when the father and brother wrestled the aliens away from the boy in the basement, his lungs were now closed he didnt and couldnt inhale.

Now when MNS char runs off towards the lake, because none of the crop cirles or sightings is never near bodies of water, the connection is finally made and the girls pet peeve pays off. She never drinks a full glass of water because it is "contaiminated" she always leaves a half full glass of water, all around the house. Now when they finally see the alien mel has the flahsback and tells his brother to swing, he understands grabs his bat from the wall and swings at the alien, and continues to hit him. The alien finally falls and glasses of water that are on the dfresser fall on the alien, killing it. Now they inject the medicine into the boy and he finally comes to, thus when the attack is over they all survive, and u see it flash on towards winter where Mel Gibson comes out of the bathroom in his priest dressing for he is now in with the group that believes it was a miracle and he returns to the practice.

the whole idea of aliens taking over the world without seeing it and just imagining it was kinda neat!
