In Storm I gave a list with 5 names of possible mafias which ended up including 3 mafias although VE ended up being MVP that game because he somehow managed to get an even better list making a list of 4 or 5 people that included all 4 mafias (if I remember correclty). In C9++ #2 I said #1 mafia is either A or B, #2 mafia is C, #3 mafia is either D or E while saying everyone else is surely town and it ended up being A, C and E. So yeah I am quite confident that I'll lynch into a mafia d1 right now. | ||

A bold statement when the day hasn´t really begun, more than half the players are yet to weigh in. I´m agreeing with supersoft on this, he says Toades is scum and I´m inclined to agree with him. Toades explains more about his scumplay than townplay when he is making a case on his townieness, and he´s sounding more nervous than angry in his interaction with supersoft. I´ve seen many town-town arguments, and I don´t think this is one. | ||

Also I don't know if this has already been brought up, but assuming the mayor is a good townie I think it's reasonable to believe that they'll be killed the first night, after all why would scum want a good townie in a position with double votes, it can only be bad for them. So we should start looking a little bit more closely at our mayor candidates, because if any of them have brains they've already figured it out they'll be dead the first night unless they're scum of course. | ||

I don't even care if we can vote for ourselves. *brofist* Blzing, join me in a concentrated effort in removing emotion from our game. I think the town as a whole wiill benefit regardless of our alignment. I'm not willing to call Toad scum for bravado just yet. I mean, the arguments are intriguing and I eagerly await his response, but I think Toad is scum a LOT when he's town. One thing I know for sure though is that Toad WILL scumslip if he's scum...it's just a matter of time. Experience has taught me well that the guy is GOING to tell us he's scum if he is, in fact, scum. And the best part? He'll do it even though I'm WARNING TOWN RIGHT NOW! Why? Because he thinks I'm full of shit when I tell him about it when we're scum together. So yeah, Toad is on the watchlist but I'm not willing to call him scum just yet. Being sure about lynching scum isn't a scumtell, I myself said in my first (second?) post that I'm confident I'll hit scum D1. *shrug* | ||

The second half of your post is pure WIFOM. If the Mayor and Vice-Mayor survive a few nights then we´ll of course take a closer look at them, but that´s true for any player surviving player who is very active and generally agreed on to be town. What we should not do is tell scum that we´ll kill our best and brightest townies ourselves if they only leave them alone. | ||

I am leaning towards an Echelon vote, he is coming off very townie to me. His post about positive attitude was great, as the game was already going into an insult shitfest. Also, he isn't going to policy lynch but discuss his analysis of who to lynch and isn't going to lone-wolf it. Plus, he would seem to put the 2 votes to use. For Pardoner, Mr. Wiggles would be a good choice as he has a townie vibe coming off of him, aswell as he seems smart enough not to misuse it. However, it is going to be difficult to coordinate a pardoner vote. But ultimately, you could lie your ass off to get elected. ##Vote: EchelonTee | ||

Okay, getting 3 out of 5 mafia right isn't an achievement. Okay first part is empty words trying to make post longer trying to look like you contribute. I maydislike policy lynching, but I'm going to do it anyways because I like being contradicting scum and want easy day1 town lynch. It seems like Wiggles is the teamleader, yeah you agree that gf should save himself. I can find a few reasons not to trust Wiggles: 1. He's running specifically for VP, which is half-assed. Scum tend to be half-assed. 2. He's made a huge fluffy I'm-a-sensible-guy mayor post and ignored everything in the thread apart from a somewhat redundant question towards BlazingHand. Hmm. Are you actually new rather than a smurf? The possibility of jailers makes it extremely risky for scum to hit a good townie with the mayor role, even with doublestacked KP. | ||

EchTee: playing mostly calm, logical, and fair. Making sense. Wants to make sure everyone posts. Probably going to vote for him as mayor. Just because pardon is more helpful to scum than town, we shouldn't lynch the Vice to rid the power since the Vice is likely a strong player who was making enough sense to be the runner-up. There is always the scenario where the Vice is able to use the pardon on someone they have confirmed as town through night powers. @Blazinghand regarding s&b's motivations to run: His reasoning/motivation sounded reasonable and truthful to me. As a newb, it doesn't seem scummy to say you don't feel comfortable as a newer player with the responsibility of Mayor Lynch but feel comfortable keeping pardon power out of scums hands. Unless s&b does something else suspicious, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt for now. @Hyaach: you want to abstain from voting? If you are town, you'd want to always contribute and vote to dilute the influence of mafia. Forumite: so far seems sensible, pro-town, active but reasonably restrained; as I have been catching up on the thread, has echoed what I was thinking. @Toad: If you are that good playing scum, then why would I feel safe voting for you on the anecdotal evidence of your intuition. So you are saying if you are mayor, you will kill scum. If you don't, do you want us to assume you are scum and lynch you next? Would if you bet you will be safe and confirmed all game by sacrificing another scum now? supersoft: seems pro-town at moment from his starting to pressure and scumhunt @Manason: have to agree with Forumite's response to you: we should not assume that they must be scum for surviving in office or tell the scum we will kill the Mayor for them. @kitaman: elect someone who isn't running? This doesn't make sense to me, would if they are bad at reading people or turn out to be a lurker? regarding grush: look he seems to be making more of an effort than what was linked to his past. | ||
