King.Crimson was just banned by KwarK. That account was created on 2011-06-03 23:46:59 and had 446 posts. Reason: wtf, somebody dropped the ball badly in ever letting a piece of shit like you return to this site. For reference, it's this guy. Lol. Awesome  EDIT: Clarification. Yeah was confused by this as well. Eh I mean, there isn't literally absolutely no silver lining because he's not at large anymore because you happened to come across his posting and subsequently banned him, and that's something. But yes I understand what you mean. It's a disgrace of course and I'm sorry for being facetious in that way. :< Interested in what post ultimately caused the ban as well, I don't think it has yet appeared in search. | ||

No, he's still very much at large and statistically will continue to think that it's not a big deal and will continue to rape for the rest of his life. The research is unequivocally clear. The vast majority of rapists become very good at target selection, will rape for years and will never get caught. If they're good at what they will do they will never even be reported because society is sufficiently good at shifting the blame to victims and marginalising the issue that people don't even confront what he does. Furthermore he'll continue to believe that everyone else does it too, it's just one of those things that it's not PC to talk about in case someone like me gets all butthurt about it. The reason he thinks that is because we live in a culture where it is acceptable to joke about rape, to minimise rape and its impact, to blame victims and excuse men. Yesterday I learned that teamliquid had become an active participant in the process of enabling him. I love this site, there is no silver lining here. Kwark meant that it was disgraceful that the banned guy was allowed back into the community after confessing such a thing; basically the banned person successfully went to another mod and was accepted back a while after the post that originally got him banned.
