Well, I'd consider a free hour of coaching to be a good "give-back" reward to his fans. The whole "come on my stream" kind of gives the impression that he's a big celebrity - in a negative way. Reminds me of William Shatner charging for autographs at the expos. A 1v1 match diamond (or sub diamond) vs GM is extremely one-sided as you'd expect. He just stomped the guy and went back to laddering.
Answering questions and such is definitely a positive thing

Its fun playing someone good and makes a good story. I don't think anyone expects themselves to win but its still fun and a great challenge. It makes you appreciate how good they are. If you don't like that so be it.
I would love to have opportunity to play great players.

My friend plays a lot of stepmania, so I'm sure he can beat that song easily and get to play; I know he's a big qxc fan and little contests like this are fun.

You aren't very familiar with QXC's stream are you? He always plays with fans on his stream and asks them what they want to do, play a 2v2, play a 1v1, and he will do some funky build someone from chat recommends, like some good ole mass raven fun. Its about having fun with his fans man. He is like the friendliest streamer because he communicates and interacts with his viewers so much.

Same issue as the above poster. Someone banned me during the mass mod invasion. Please unban as I am huge fan of QXC and this was obviously random ppl abusing mod.

Not sure why having contests to come on the stream is seen as having a big ego. I like these games and in particular these songs. I want other people to play them and people have often expressed interest in playing games on stream. So I create an opportunity for people to come on.
