After watching your cast of the stork v modesty semis, i have to say i'm quite impressed with your casting. Then again i was expecting it to be shit =P Its pretty good keep it up!
I have never played SC:BW, but man so much more action going on then in SC2. I love the small battles that happens every third minute and the big maps with no tight ramps etc, its not like in SC2 where people usually just max out and engage!

Thanks for streaming RDT Should consider not streaming as an event though. SPL/OSL/MSL are the only BW things I recognize, and with the current all-events-get-thrown-together system, I'd be way more likely to notice [BW] Sayle.

Sayle is like epinephrine for the BW foreigner community. Bringing it back from near death and maintaining its health. Without him I would never have started playing this fantastic game or enjoyed watching it.

Sayle, thanks for casting BW and generally loving the game enough to bring it to the English speaking community. Even though I mostly play and watch Sc2, you really bring out the fun of BW in a way that no one else is doing right now. Keep up the awesome!

Whenever you are explaining something, but action starts to happen, you should stop explaining what you were previously explaining, commentate on the action that is happening, then go back to what you were explaining. At least, you should speed up your explanations, coz you always seem to be caught explaining something 5 or 6 seconds after stuff starts to happen, which makes it look like you don't know whats going on.
I'm looking at the live streams and I feel bad, only 298 people are listening to the most epic stream ever. There are literally thousands of people on TL right now not being entertained properly right now.

Regarding last couple of days of streaming, 12-nex wise:
I remember back in the day you used to make 2-3 range-less goons even when going dt. Now you just make more cannons. Isn't it wiser to make goons and hold position them between the first line of 3-4 cannons, instead of adding more cannons which are out of range of the attacking goons? Goons and cannons have similar cost, you already have the supply for them and you can get a second gas if you feel you don't have enough for dts.

I never watch BW and don't know it very well, but I knew the Finals were on and tuned it to try and learn more about it.
I found your casting excellent, and I could follow no only what was going on in the games and the strategies being used, but also felt I learned a lot about these important players I've only really heard of but had never seen.
I was really impressed, I've tried to watch a little BroodWar before and have been lost completely, but you made it very accessable and I think I'll try to watch more of it.

You are a really good commentator. I have been watching your restream of the Proleague and have been thinking that you are one of the best caster and you know more than enough about BW and SC2 to teach people about both games. I have learnt a lot about BW from your stream.

I've changed my mind, please only do live casts if you can't. I can't watch them myself, but I'd rather have HQ vods than watching LQ rebroadcasts live.
Great work but 1 tiny suggestion. Is it possible to either have the score in the overlay or talk about it during the break? I came in halfway and at the end i just heard it was a reversed all kill without knowing that.

Wanted to let you know your stream is awesome dude. I actually really like your commentary style. You're concise, relaxed, and don't stumble over your words, but you have so much to say that it stays interesting. Hey Sayle, are you planning to restream SC2 OSL matches as well? I really enjoy your casts, but often times I can't stay up late enough to watch them. I know you must be overworked enough, but if you could be more consistent with uploading your vods to your youtube page, that would be phenomenal. I look for them often, but a lot of the times matches don't make it up there for some reason or another. Or maybe theres another place you are archieving vods that I haven't discovered yet?
it really ruined my morning when Sayle's stream got taken down. I'm glad i got to follow along for the ride for most of the PL season and some of the OSL season. Thanks for getting me hooked on the ancestral legacy that is Brood War. I'm glad to have been able to listen in for the audio only cast of Sayle and Ominous at least for the first 2 maps before i had to leave for work. I hope to tune in for the remainder of the ProLeague season if they still turn a blind eye to the re-stream, or even if you do audio-only.

I agree 100%. I could watch BW in 240p with Korean commentaries and 20 minute K-Pop breaks but not SC2. I would have no idea what is going on. And with Moletrap or Ophidian I couldn't watch it. None of them is even in the same league as Sayle, for different reasons.
@guy above me: I think Sayle already said that he doesn't want to be a pro caster because it would mess up his own career. Though it would be awesome for us if it happened.

Considering that ooooophidian did a cast with video yesterday that got thousands of viewers and nothing happened, I don't think it matters whether or not Sayle shows video as long as there is no official english cast. When there is an official english cast though, it's gonna have to be audio-only.
Also, I'm more troubled by the mysterious disappearance of proteinclock!

I was speculating based on what I read in chat, people said he runs ads all the time, but it turned out that's just twitch's ads running, according to some fans. I don't know how his stream got shut down, but it seems clear (especially based on what gunrun said) that restreams won't be allowed whenever there is official English casting going on.
GL to sayle, I don't have any ill will to other casters regardless of what drama people try to start.
