Let me explain a little on this. I am a gamer. You are a gamer. That is what matters, the game, and the skill (or lack of) that is being shown. I am trying to take things further with events like the Minerva Tournament with Tesla, but otherwise, it is still just a game being broadcast by someone. That someone can be a literal troll (you know, the chop its arm off and it grows back kind) or an angel, and I wouldn't care. I still watch other streams because they are entertaining, the same reason I play pool, go camping, or play board games. The bottom line is that it is entertainment, and my gender or background has absolutely no bearing on it. | ||

Catreina has done more for TL and the Starcraft scene than any of you have as far as I know. So how about we keep TL about competitive Starcraft and drop the rest of the crap? Thanks. | ||

Whoah whoah, hold on there. There is absolutely no way I have done more for TL and Starcraft than some of the people on TL. I mean sure, I might have done more than the random trolls, but to say I have done more than "any of you" is a bit of a stretch. As for why it matters (your first paragraph), it doesn't. People who are posting WANT it to matter, and that is why they are so adamant about it. | ||

And hopefully you can explain why you're doing what you're doing so I can understand the reasoning and try it out as well if it works out  Have watched 3 games already during your stream Scrap station in mirror match -You get supply blocked a lot - Not having much zealots for a meatwall or any other unit - Good usage of phoenix but your army got melted away Another Protoss mirror don't remember map name (4 player map) - funny thing to try and research range upgrade for collossus while you had 90 gas :D - only few units in your army (stalker/sentry/zealot) after 6-8 minutes - a 2gate zealot pressure/4gate push / 3gate robo timing push would have easily beaten you right now but opponent isn't doing any pressure just expanding which you're also doing which is good - 18 probes on your main mineral line and when expansion is done you took 16 probes and put it to your expansion which means u had 2 probes on your main mineral line instead -> maybe would be best if you divide your mineral probes in half and send 1 half to your expansion. - Very passive playstyle - Dividing your army with zealots in grp 1 / ranged at 2 if I saw correctly - Should have retreated and waited a bit with your zealots rushing in (you had high ground so abuse it with your collosi and produce some units in meantime and force him to be the one going into your base you have the advantage on high ground) 3rd game vs - Fast gate-core-robotics-2stargate tech with only a zealot as army. - Might be better cuz of the distance of the map to build your 2 stargates right of his base at the 2nd expansion where its blocked of by rocks. Somewhere around that vicinity so opponent will never think you're going stargates since you have your expansion up he will think you're behind in tech - Opponent also going vr rush how convenient - Charging up by attacking own pylon = smart move but you did attack move which would have been better if you actually focused 1 unit and shift focus the rest of his army - If you're already commited to the vr upgrade speed for them Overall pretty decent and I'll be watching your streams (and giving my thoughts on your games). | ||

In any event, supply blocking is something that happens to me alot, that and my lack of efficient macro. I am working on both. The third game in particular, I went VR BECAUSE I knew that was what he was doing, when he cannoned up. Otherwise I was moving for a normal ground based army. When I finished that game I had 3-0 with 3-0 researching, and the speed upgrade completed. Overall, I dont have any specific strategy when I go into a game, ever. I just decide what to do on the fly, adjusting based on what my initial probe sees when scouting. I have to scout more, even out my econ/unit buildings/units more, instead of always focusing on one over another. I also have to keep a better eye on mins/gas/supply when micro- and macro-ing because that is where a majority of my issues stem from | ||

EDIT: The fact that you banned multiple people who suggested the same thing from your stream without warning doesn't really help your case at all. Plus, he was known to use an alias that is quite similar to your name. So like I said, maybe I'm wrong. But maybe I'm not. | ||

I have had the alias ZergRepellant since 1999 when I was playing Starcraft 1. I have been broadcasting live on Justin.TV since April of 2009, and it is well known that I have never played DotA, suck at HoN, and generally do not like LoL. People have found evidence that I can not refute, but this is just outrageous. Claiming that I am some pedophile scumbag who screwed the DotA/HoN community is baseless. People have seen my address on the stream - I dont hide it. Does this Hunter_ jackass even live in New England? I mean, Gardner MA is a small town... | ||

I don't have any interest in having an innocent person be antagonized, but what I do want is the make sure that guy doesn't go around doing the same shit he did before in newly-developing gaming communities. It's morally wrong and it's bad for e-sports in general. And Hunter was pretty bad at DotA too, so I wouldn't use that to help your case.  | ||

This guy takes being a jackass to a whole new level. Like I said, there is some history of my own I cannot refute, but being presumed to be this HunteR_ jackass is incomprehensible. My mods (those in the stream) have been ban/T.O happy recently. This is part of why I massunban every few days. It is unfortunate that silly stuff gets people booted, really. The Minerva Tournament is not just my tournament, it is mine and Tesla's. Tesla has been involved with ICCup for quite some time, and I am a relative nobody to the community. I can understand the skepticism, especially with me talking about "trying" to get sponsors. However, I will NEVER say we are giving something away without confirmed proof that shows the same. I desire to see eSports for SC2 grow. I have been waiting for something to pull me away from WoW for almost 5 years, and SC2 is where I am going to be for the long haul, whether Minerva works out for the better or dies a horrible death. | ||
