Its much easier to play vs any D/D+ player anyway ?
But I WOULD LOVE someone who is A-/A make a D/D+ acc and try to get a game with players like morrow or others who are playing D/D+ players..
one loss would undo like 30 games ? :D
haha ^^

Well, as i previously stated i got a couple of games from Morrow the other day. Im swedish too, and we talked a bit. Turns out he is really a good guy, and i did not get the impression that he was "abusing" D-players (im a C- player that all-inned him, if i didnt forget ling speed it couldve worked lol) - i do really believe that its just lol-games. Just look at it - he got a staggering 26 points from the two games, and it took over 25 minutes total. Abusing would be more like bashing B/B- - players so you at least get some points from it!
Also, i must say that this thread (except for all the bashing) is great, and its SO exciting to watch the scoreboard, matchlists ect. Im probably going to do this many more times over the next couple of months but thank you TL staff & pokerstrategy for making this possible!
Edit: Magicphil - and it would also be against the rules ... Edit 2: Well i guess that someone not participating in TSL could do it. Dunno who that would be though.

Think he should work on his tvt but his tvz and tvp are one of the best right now. Btw Morrow gratz for your A rank once i told you that you never gonna get A rank and kinda bm you but i was wrong. You got it playing mostly nonkoreans but its still a great achievment to beat the best nonkoreans right now Dont think anyone except Idra , F91, Ret (zvp and zvt ) and maybe White-ra can get A playing mostly koreans.
I think Dimaga, Sen, BRAT_OK and Advokate are capable of doing it as well

Kolll might have a shot at it, too I doubt he's a dodger.. ^^

Hayder, what are you doing outside the Top 48!?!

kolll makes his appearance in top 100 for the first time: 95 de tsl_kolll B 7675 57 - 7 34

As for someone making a smurf account to kill the points of such players would be fun, but its against the TSL rules, as if you have a TSL account, you can't play any other TSL players from an other account of yours. (I guess if some D player takes 3-4 wins off A- players, Romad or someone would be surely dispatched to the case )
Though, if there's some decent player who's not playing the TSL for some reason, he should totally do this in the last 48 hours, and blog his results later on

Obviously I was kidding and I dont anyone to cheat in any way.
I just cant imagine what it would feel like to lose 1 game which undoes 30 games in terms of points gain/loss

I would enjoy seeing him play, but you can be sure he will lose to any of the top foreigners. Yan is a BO/precise player, he is not particularly good mechanically nor in mid-longer length games. Look at his matchlist, you'll notice a certain MU sticks out - PvP, all very short games (max of 7-8 minutes), with his only win percentage over 60%. That's because PvP is a much easier game for someone of his skills to win, BOs, precise micro, more cheeses. If you download all his ICC clan league 1v1s, it's almost 100% cheese. Most games that aren't won with cheese he gets completely raped in. Like his 2-1 loss to Brat_OK, he won one game with a 2 gate in mid, almost one another with a 2 gate in mid, and then got absolutely steam rolled when he didn't do it in the 3rd game. He also reset his stats like 4 times before he got that A-.
I know this because I was curious as to how he could get A- so many times 1v1 after playing him in 2v2 many times and being in quite a few 1v1-type situations and thinking he was nowhere near good enough to be 1v1 A-, at which point I investigated by downloading a ton of his 1v1 reps and watching them.
I hope this doesn't qualify as a "BM" post, because I'm not trying to insult him personally. That's just how it is. I think if he got to the qualification rounds it would also be funny to see his excuses/BM for losing (he always has some funny/stupid excuse in the comments section of every clan war when he loses).

There he is! 60-9! Awesome record for playing Koreans ^^ Keep up the good work, Kolll!

after all, I'm enjoying what is happening: players doing what they can to get to the highest rankings and now all those old good players have to move their lazy asses for a chance at the 22k prize
more games, more players, more flaming, more fun

the.... amount of A- players are rediculous

I see some D rank games in the matchlist of A- players.

f91 looking for easy wins vs lower ranked opponents... Idra in trouble. He's gotta play against Artosis and Tasteless to get free wins and climb to A+
|
all will be well in the end, i think. people (especially the fans) shouldn't be worrying too much. regardless of all the dodging the best players seem to consistently be in, near or nearing the top of the ladder. i just wish someone would have the drive to challenge idra for the top of the hill. all in all i'm just really stoked about the RO48.. it's like christmas or something. i can't wait!!

Actually, the results below what you would think is his level. And he has been facing more foreigners than Koreans.
Still, I don't think you can really judge anything from ladder results. I'm sure he'll have a higher winrate than more people, so I just hope he can put in enough games this last week. I certainly feel confident that he can climb into top48, and if he does, then we get to change to see him more than we would if he finished top12 as he aims to do.
There are some other people in there that I really hope can climb a bit more, so that it doesn't end up being people randomly playing a lot of games or facing the right players who qualify. As some people have said, this might force some of the old top players to motivate themselves a bit more, not just playing a minimum of games.
I haven't watched any replays yet, but from the results a lot of Swedes and Americans are doing impressively, and seem to be better than I had thought. It's also new to see a few somewhat new names pop up in that PrAeToR, for instance, has never really been anyone I noticed, and guys like MaNa and mOrroW seem to have had more of chance to prove their worth.
It's so nice that this tournament is so active and helps activately of a lot of retired or semi-retired people, because when you look at the size of the talent pool that Starcraft has, it's really quite depressing. I'm really looking forward to the replays in the end. I'm thinking that the level will generally be higher, but it seems that less top players might have faced each other compared to the last tournament.
Hope to see some more Germans and Russians pull through in the end, since these are the ones I'm rooting for. You can only really hope that things get incredible intense in the last few days and that the better players will be able to push ahead, while those with more points at the moment will be forced to face them. It's going to be exciting, I just hope not to be dissapointed. Regardless, playoffs will probably be quality. I'm probably wont watch the playoff matches, though, as they will be VODs. But if I remember correcly, the initial qualification matches weren't.

Haha, Koll jumping 56 places in one update is seriously off the chart!
