Too bad for Morrow but this way we might see another sweden in the playoffs.

I don't care much for the fact that he's swedish but I'm starting to like his attitude. When people are agreeing he's actually too bad to be in top 12 he doesn't stop playing but instead goes for the first place. I like that.

I wonder how the admins will enforce the rule as it pertains to kolll vs sziky. The rule is as follows:

Rule 2 - Example: If you are playing the same player, 3-0, 4-1, 5-2 would be acceptable scores, but 4-0 or 5-1 would not be. Any violations will result in point penalties.

Now, kolll beat sziky 3-0, then lost 1-2 to him just recently. However, he won the first game of the second three game series, meaning at that moment in time he was 4-0 vs. sziky. The rule can be interpreted two ways:

1) If at any point in time you have a 4+ win differential against the same opponent within a 24 hour period, you have broken the rule.

2) If, after the 24 period starting with the first game has elapsed, you have a 4+ win differential against the same opponent, you have broken the rule.

Kolll would be guilty of #1, but not #2 (although if he keeps playing sziky he could potentially violate #2 as well).

In my understanding they should have stopped playing as soon as it was 3-0 in favour of one of them. Way #2 would be an absurd rule, how could you be sure that you will bring back the differential to only 3 at the end of the day?

I'm more curious about how admins will solve the rule-breaking. Can effect many players, for example http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/matchlist/874043/1x1.html

I completely agree with you, but I accidentally quoted only the rule's example, and not the rule itself. The actual rule is this:

2. A player may only have a 3 game win/loss differential versus his opponent per 24-hour period

The way this is worded sounds dangerously similar to #2. It would be completely nonsensical to have it that way, but I hope the admins clarify the situation.

Did F91 cheat too? Or did he just give up because he didn't get the top 12 he really needed?

sigh this went to shit

Played a beastly 45 games today over the last 16-17 hours or so, and I noticed it started to take a toll on me as I was getting really tired the last 15 games or so, with the 10 last just being desperate cheese attempts every game trying to gain fast points which ultimately failed horribly.

Really disappointing not making it after playing 400~ games these last 3 weeks in between 3 exams (which kinda suffered from it lol) but with my terribad PvZ (44% including probably 20 wins before I started losing at the B ranks) and the B+/A- rank thriving with Zergs I never seemed to get anyway once I got above A- In the end I guess I am just not good enough to qualify.

So now I have to cheer for Eri and Shauni(if he pulls through last minute)

Yes, 4:0 in a period of 1 hour against Future. And he probably won't make it because of it. The irony...

edit: woops, missed the first game, my bad

Quote from the rules thread:

"On the final day of the ladder, players may only play another player to a difference of three games. For example, 3-0, 4-1, 5-2, 6-3 are all acceptable last day series scores against a single player, while 4-0 is not. Once the score reaches a three game margin for either player, the players must stop playing each other."

THe cutoff is actually lower now than it was an hour ago?

9500 vs 9600 earlier?

Maybe it's grinded to a halt. :o
