Wow - I have been out of the scene for years and didn't even realize Naniwa was still someone anyone paid attention to. As to the first quote, I am less than impressed with the "Skilberators" and "Aderpts" whine. He could have at least come up with something more creative to get banned over I feel.

Yep, he streams every now and then. I remember when I met him in Cologne in, I think, 2013 or 14? Gumba was there, too. I was surprised to find out he was smoking but since I smoked back then as well, I didn't care too much.

I'm a little late to the party, but perhaps it should be discussed as to whether the politics thread needs a new start. I don't want to spend a lot of time assigning blame. Demographics being what they are, you would expect certain views to rise to the top, My experience, however, has been that anyone who expresses a viewpoint to the right of Joe Biden is berated and harangued endlessly and called a sorts of vile names at the drop of a hat. Why would any reasonable person come in to offer their opinion then? The only people that will be left are the extremely disagreeable people, and their behavior is used to further justify the belligerent atmosphere. It's quite a microcosm of politics.
A thread should be used to exchange ideas and have some sort of meeting of minds, not for backpats and target dummy practice.
One idea might be to have a Political News thread and another thread geared more towards political/philosophical principles.
