Either danglars or xdaunt told someone to "go back to africa" because they were black and no action was taken. Reporting posts in the thread is pointless : the moderation clearly does not care unless the person is either liberal or not a regular. Feedback has also proven useless. I'm done participating in the main TL site, it's an open harbor for openly racist white supremacists like Xdaunt, tacitly condoning their abhorrent views. | ||

As shown in that exact post, another poster changed the words and twisted the meaning, and posters that didn’t read the exchange parroted the swap. This is an example of wishcasting “openly racist white supremacists” because you view some opinions as too dire to hold. You can’t point to any proof because none exists; you can’t even back up your false example because it isn’t an example and that fact was commented upon by two posters right after the time it was falsely made. You really should start using appropriate definitions of white supremacist if you want to be taken seriously in this forum ... no examples exist and no poster espousing those views is unbanned and currently posting. | ||

Keep in mind that moderation of a political discussion is extra tricky, and demands even more effort, simply because of the spectrum of views and the nature of politics. Now I can't speak for anyone else but me so I am unsure whether or not this is behind it at all. We do not (purposefully) keep an open harbor for said views, I want to make that very clear. There's a zero tolerance towards, blatant or not, racism. Again, this is not the place for this kind of discussion. If you have any qualms you can message a moderator directly, or me if you must. I might not directly respond but I can assure you that I read and consider everything ^^ | ||

i don't consider most of the conservative posters to be white nationalists, and calling them that really isn't helpful. but, they clearly don't care about minority issues or any number of things the more lefty posters do and are oftentimes very dismissive - and insulting about it (not that the lefties including me don't respond in kind). however, it does certainly seem that for some reason comments that would get me, p6 or someone else a warning are looked over in their cases. anyways, at the very least, i think he should have gotten a longer ban and a 'final warning' or something instead of slapping with a perm for a heated but pretty average exchange for the thread. | ||

America should split up into ethnostates because different cultures cannot co-exist. White people brought civilization to Africa and blacks fucked it up. Palestinians should let Israel ethnically cleanse them because they can't win anyway. and probably a bunch more then I cant think of right now. And those posters are still here today. Yes there is plenty of thinly veiled and occasionally blatant neo-nazi/white supremacists stuff going on in the US politics thread. | ||
