It is baffling to me how anyone can be so fucked in the head that they look at that video of a terrorist attack and go "yeah, but the victims had it coming". I don't really see how it can be that entertaining. I hardly have any mod activity. I've been warned 3 times one of which was removed. As far to my knowledge I've never been banned. No - it was more along the lines of "you're just not getting it" in terms of posting in a matter that is, quite frankly, inflammatory. Like, one of the articles he linked is titled: + Show Spoiler [Mildly NSFW] +

Tell me that isn't inflammatory - after coming off of like 5 bans in a row for the same kind of style. Frankly, I kind of like the guy (bardtown) even though I don't agree much with his social/political views (our agreement ends mostly at "Brexit was a good thing"), but he really just never knew when to let an issue go or when to avoid descending into a flame war. This really did feel like a "last straw" moment and while it might seem a bit unfair in light of how his debate opponents tend to get off scot-free for egging him on this whole time (a known issue), he honestly did cross the line one too many times here and I can't say that this didn't seem appropriate.
Bigfan's message is more along the lines of "I hope your perspective will evolve over time" as a nicer way of saying "this aggressive hateful attitude really doesn't belong here." A statement of opinion on his part.
Bardtown would jump on any opportunity to cast aspersion on Muslims, posting things like "And what do all of these crimes have in common?" And it was becoming more and more overt.
Bardtown was a big boy, he could have just avoided being baited. I remember a year ago people tried to explain the concept of tyranny of the majority to him and he just became nasty about the entire thing.
