Edit: If I'm sounding a tad spiteful, its because while I enjoy reading so much about policies and different people's ideals, I guess some are rubbing me in the wrong way. This election cycle has been messy, and the first one I have taken seriously. | ||

I think the US megathread fate (to which I take partial responsibility) was hard to avoid given how little the three or four republican posters and everyone else understand each other on basically everything. At the same time, I think that's what is to be celebrated on this website : the plurality of opinions and the discussion, as frustrating and heated as they may be, between people who would otherwise never, ever, ever discuss. Personally as a frenchman in Norway, the opportunities to talk with a hard right republicans are non existent, and well, those people exist and I hear about them every day in the newspaper after all. I guess Testie is just not very good at not crossing the line in a really obvious and suicidal way. Given my past life as a regular Disneyland tourist, I can't say I don't understand. | ||

In short, it was closed saying that it will be evaluated by the mods and then it was open again. In the process, we got some more fuel for the unedning Kwarkhate, so it was a fruitful activity indeed. | ||
