It's really considerate from the guy to do the biggest mass shooting in the US history literally hours after the US politics thread has been closed though, providing space to basically continue with the bulk of the debate from there with only a small interruption.

There is a pretty extensive thread about it in Website Feedback. In short, it was closed saying that it will be evaluated by the mods and then it was open again. In the process, we got some more fuel for the unedning Kwarkhate, so it was a fruitful activity indeed.
