Damn I didn't knew there were so many bans. Although I don't read LR when I'm watching stream and don't post much in LR thread nowadays  Good for me I could have accidentally said something emotional that would've get be banned by manifesto.

It seems that the GSL Code A Day 1 thread is the perfect bait for purging the trolls. It should be interesting to see how the LR threads will do now that Mani is swinging his banhammer around left and right. Hopefully more people will heed the warnings and start contributing better to the threads.

This day could be remembered for all eternity as the turning point of the SC2 LR-threads. Hopefully the banned people will learn from this.

Holy crap did Mani lay the smack down last night. I don't think I've ever seen such an explosion in the ban list overnight.
I think they should consider slowly ramping up the bans. It doesn't seem like people are getting it even though 20+ people before them were being banned.

well.. starleague threads when bisu, jaedong or flash are playing (worst scenario - are playing each other) are pretty similar
as for tonight banning - i don't really like the "talk about games or get banned" threat. I mean we all know LR threads are not just about games, it's about everything you see or hear on the screen. People talk about players' ceremonies, interviews, stage, artosis' hair, tasteless' voice, tastosis' good jokes, tastosis' mistakes and it's allright. Why not let them politely express their opinion about new caster? When they act like animals (yea, probably most of them), then sure, ban them all.

Special cases, such as today, warrant such temporary rules. Every page was pretty much 90% non-constructive whining about the caster, while usually most of the discussion is about the games. It's fairly unlikely not directly game related topics will remain banned.
