Did anyone else "snoop" on ? .. Am I going crazy for checking/making assumptions? for typing this very post...
I went on a limb to answer (whereas the ask tl staff means staff) because the request hit so close to home (add so), but then I started to realize how weird it was to have done so.. I like to help and one could assume that "that's that". But it is not.

why do you say that? You can easily discuss the games played and make predictions about who do you think will win and why.

They exist to tell people whats going on in the tournament so that you have an idea whats going on if/when you're going into it, if you know whos playing, what's their current form like and an idea who's the better player then we're doing our job right.

The feeling of high stakes, of really caring whether or not a player or team wins, is long gone. There are players I cheer for, but I won't be overjoyed if they win or particularly sad if they lose. That's really the crux of the issue.
