TL introduced me to esports back when SC2 was announced, and I've loved it ever since. I wouldn't presume to call it home, more like the home of friends made late in life, where I felt privileged to be welcome.
I've witnessed amazing moments of individual brilliance on this screen, always with TL in the background. I've cursed imbalance, and cheered it. I've waxed... well, mostly just waxed, on various topics, ideas and suggestions. Sorry about that.
I no longer feel I belong. Or maybe I no longer feel there's something to belong to. I come here every day and every day it's just more shit being poured on the people trying to keep - no, treat this game like it's something worth caring about. And every olive branch Blizzard offers is just so much toilet roll.
Fuck you if you think SC2 has been a catalogue of design errors. I didn't stay up 'till 3am on work nights to watch design errors. I didn't go to bars and go apeshit over design errors, I went apeshit because Bomber didn't disappoint, or because Life found a way. The game is fucking amazing. It's like Rachmaninoff was handed a machine gun instead of a piano.
So, Mr(s) Moderator: a permanent ban, if you would be so kind, boss. It's been a pleasure. I sincerely wish you the best of luck.

I was just basing it off his ban reason.
playa was just temp banned for 90 days by Falling.
That account was created on 2010-12-28 11:18:46 and had 1161 posts.
Reason: You have a bad post history. If you are not turning threads into BW vs SC2 you are balance whining, if you are not balance whining, you are complaining about hackers without providing evidence. You appear immune to following corrective instructions. You were given a last warning regarding balance whine, so here is your last warning overall. When you come back, correct your posting habits and fast.

How odd. There are numerous 9-11 photos scattered throughout the funny pics thread as well as the original NSFW thread.

not really amusing even if it werent offensive to some. now, if it was Rampage, thats a different story.

TL, defining the correct way of humour since ... whatever.
Gender up, babies.

Humour cannot be offensive by definition. That's why it's called humour.
In my country we have a weekly TV show dedicated to this kind of humor, making fun of people in concentration camps and stuff.

Elite: + Show Spoiler +We all decide if we do or not, the ones that try, end up doing somewhat. Social pressure is still a thing isn't it?
Also, we off topic.

Is this the actual definition of humor or just your view on it?
and even if humor is that definition all you've shown is that qualify as humor are not offensive. there's still the argument of whether this is offensive or not and if it is then by definition it can't be humor.
you can't just say somethings humor and instantly make it immune from being called offensive.

well it depends on how you define humorous. if you mean who determines what's funny to the general population that its obviously the community at large. if you mean humorous as what you think its funny than its you,but in that case there's no strict definition of what qualifies as humoruus.

The solution is to look at a case by case scenario and see if you laugh or not

Glad I don't live there.
You don't make fun of tragedies where people might know victims. That's not being "offensive", that's being an asshole. I'm a serious Christian and I don't get "offended" by any of the nonsense that is done or said to offend Christianity. I certainly don't get "offended" by the shit people say about my country.
But there is a material difference between making fun of a tragedy and making fun of a group or idea. For the record, TL tries pretty hard to keep even the latter out of the funny pictures thread (you won't get far with racism or religion-bashing and can only go a little farther with country bashing).
9/11 jokes are especially unfunny because of their proximity. I, for one, know people who lost loved ones there. Sure the same is true for other posters here. Holocaust jokes aren't funny either for similar reasons.
And maybe the best argument is that it's the fucking funny pictures thread: I go there to see funny pictures. I want to be amused, in a light-hearted way. I don't want to see a car crash and I sure don't want to see a plane crash.

It's called trolling. Why a network would sponsor a tv show of it, I wouldn't understand.
