I will say though I'm not sure you can diagnose someone as both neurotic and psychotic. but I'm not a psychologist or a psychiatrist according to wikipedia "According to the American Heritage Medical Dictionary, neurosis is "no longer used in psychiatric diagnosis." also according to this their on the same spectrum so it cant be both http://fox.klte.hu/~keresofi/psyth/guide/neurosis_psychosis_borderline_and_acting_out.html + Show Spoiler + (31) "Neurosis can be seen as one pole of a continuum of psychic disturbances with psychosis at the other end and borderline personality disorder between them.
