My new summer friend

I am a high school senior and recently I discovered that down the street my neighbor has a 9 year old daughter and especially now that school is almost over and she plays outside almost every day. She has her own friends around the neighborhood that she hangs out with, but she also comes over to my house and we play together on my front porch. Sometimes she brings over her dolls and we have little tea parties. Other days she will pretend to be a fashion model and use my driveway as her catwalk and show off her moves, and she'll put me in charge of getting the props ready so everything looks good. But she's not only into girly stuff. A few days ago she showed me a remote controlled toy Ferrari that her parents got her, and she had a blast trying to chase me on my front lawn with the little toy car driving all over the place. Sometimes I make her laugh so hard that she says she's going to pee her pants. I don't have a lot of friends my age so having her around makes me feel less lonely and like someone actually cares about me. I really like her a lot.
