The KESPA Cup I am surprised didn't produce more bans. I am a very reasonable person and try to be positive about SC2 and generally show nothing but disdain for the "daed gaem" naysayers, but today's PvZs made me pretty angry anyway.

I mean, I'm not gonna argue with you on the subjectivity of language, but you should know that in most circles people will interpret insha'Allah the way that Criketer or I did. For what it's worth, I'm not Catholic (Presbyterian), and neither is the phrase (it's Muslim).
And the usual use of the term isn't necessarily sectarian, or even religious. It means, "I hope" or "if it is possible" at the bare minimum. Atheists "hope" for things all the time, in much the same way that Monotheists pray for them. Yes, a Monotheist can take more meaning from the term insha'Allah, with the comforting reminder that the God of Justice has the ultimate say, but this is hardly necessary for the core use of the term.
