For many who thinks these are conspiracy theories are in denial. I do not know much about esports betting scene. But if we draw the same equivalent to contemporary sports. This is about as damning as it gets, short of mkp confessing.

The thing that is keeping the scene safe is not that players are beyond corruption. But the small scale of sports betting. Small amounts of money move the odds too much for it to be lucrative for fixers. I.e there really isn't a lot of money to be made, maybe just a few thousand dollars or tens of thousands.

To draw a comparison to football betting which I'm familiar with. A million dollars punted on an EPL game only change the odds by a few cents. A million dollar in a Icelandic league game can drop the odds by a much bigger margin. For esports, I doubt the bookie will take 6 figure bets.
